Third-Person P.O.V
Thursday | 3:33pm

Two days had passed since Max joined the band, she is the lead guitarist. She had been successfully balancing her busy schedule and was feeling more confident in managing her activities.

One afternoon, Max stepped into the familiar campus café, looking for a quiet spot to unwind after her morning classes.

Then her phone buzzed with a message from her girlfriend.

Vivian my love♡:
Hey baby, how's everything going with the band and dance club? You've been pretty busy lately

Max smiled and typed a reply.

:Hi Love, It's been great, actually. I'm really enjoying being part of the band and the dance club. Managing everything is challenging, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Vivian my love♡:
That's great my love. I miss you. Please comeback here in LA after your graduation okie my love?

Max thought for a moment and responded.
:Let's see love, I still have a lot of things to do eh.

Vivian my love♡:
I'm not rushing you naman baby,
I just miss you. Anyway, I have to sleep na. I'll talk to you na lang kapag nagising na ako.

:Sure baby, Good night, I miss you
and I love you. ♡

Max turned off her phone, nilagay niya ito sa kanyang bulsa. The café was bustling, and she was enjoying a rare moment of peace.

As she scanned the room for a place to sit, her gaze fell on a girl sitting by the window, casually sipping her drink. The girl was breathtaking. She found herself momentarily frozen, captivated by her presence. She had a natural elegance about her, her long hair cascaded gently over her shoulders, and her eyes were focused intently on the screen of her laptop. For a moment, Max forgot everything else around her.

As if struck by an arrow, Max felt her heart skip a beat. "Wow" she whispered to herself, clearly taken aback by the lady's beauty.

Taking a deep breath, Max made her way to the counter to order her coffee. After receiving her drink, she glanced around again and realized that the only available seat was at the table near the window, the one right across from the girl.

With a mix of nervousness and determination, Max walked over. "Excuse me," she said softly, trying to keep her voice cool and steady. "Is it okay if I sit here?"

The girl looked up, her eyes meeting Max's for the first time. There was a moment of silence as they took each other in. Max felt her heart skip a beat, as if something important had just happened.

"Sure," the girl replied with a warm smile, gesturing to the empty chair.
"Go ahead."

"Thanks," Max said, sliding into the seat.

"I'm Azariella, by the way."

"Magnus"

Max tried to think of something to say, but all she could focus on was how stunning Azariella looked up close. "So, how's your day going?"

"Pretty good," She replied casually. "Just trying to get some studying done before my next class. How about you?"

"I'm still trying to habol some lessons, I've been absent on the first week of classes kasi," Max explained. "So, yeah."

"Ah, I see, that must be tough. What year are you in?"

"Third year," Mikha replied. "You?"

"Same," Aiah said, her eyes lighting up a bit. "Maybe we'll end up in the same classes."
