Third-Person P.O.V.
Few months later...

Everything is going well for Z and Max. They're managing their time really well.

Max developed a habit of leaving small surprises for Z throughout the day. Z finds a post-it note tucked into her book during a leadership meeting.

"Thinking of you." she smiles, keeping the note safe. Later that evening, she discovers another one stuck on her dorm room door. "Don't forget to smile today."

Max starts leaving random post-it notes for Z in unexpected places. Sometimes they're inside Z's locker, stuck to her textbooks, or even hidden in her bag. Each note is short but sweet, with messages.

When she's having a tiring day, she'll find a note that says
"You make me smile just by existing."

Z finds the notes when she least expects them, making her heart flutter. One day, she confronts Max, holding up the latest note she found tucked in her jacket pocket

"Are you leaving these everywhere on purpose?" Z teased.

"Just a little something to make your day." Max smiled.

Z chuckles, but her heart swells with affection. She pulls Max into a quick hug, whispering, "Thank you hon, I love you so damn much!"

--

One evening, while hanging out at Max's penthouse, Z is caught off-guard when Mikha pulls out her guitar. She sits on the couch, tuning it casually, before locking eyes with Z.

"I have something for you."

Z watches in amused curiosity as Max starts singing a song she's written for her sweet and simple, with lyrics that speak directly to how Max feels. Z laughs at the unexpectedness of it all, feeling her heart swell as Max continues to serenade her, her voice warm and fi
flled with sincerity.

--

On another morning, Max surprises Z with breakfast in bed, this time more playful, with pancakes shaped like hearts and a small vase of flowers on the tray.

Max grinned. "Just wanted to keep things interesting."

Z laughs, shaking her head, but the gesture warms her inside. Max's unpredictability makes every day with her feel special.

During lunch, Max casually mentions how they should someday find a private island just for the two of them. Z chuckles, knowing Max's penchant for grand, romantic ideas, but the suggestion lingers in her mind.

"I'd even let you have the last bite of my favorite snack." Max teased.

Z rolls her eyes, smiling at how Max's random ideas always make her feel like she's the center of her world.

Z isn't surprised when Max calls her out of the blue, insisting they go out on a spontaneous dinner date. What surprises her is that Max shows up in a suit and tie, with a small bouquet of roses.

"Hon, you look stunning." Max complimented.

"My love, you look beautiful." Z said softly.

Z can't help but laugh as well, her heart full from all the unexpected moments they've shared. The random surprises, the quiet gestures, and the playful spontaneity have made their relationship she'll never forget.

--
It's late at night, and both Max and Z are struggling to sleep. After tossing and turning, Max decides to text Z.

:Awake?

:Can't sleep either.
Hungry though

Without hesitation, Max gets dressed and sneaks out to pick Z up. They decide to hit up a 24-hour convenience store and end up grabbing random snacks and drinks. Back at Max's place, they sit on the floor of the living room, surrounded by snacks, talking and laughing as they eat.
