Taehyung - Unexpected PT.2

"Hello boys, my name is Dr. Lee Kyungmin, and I'll be your doctor today." A short blonde hair man said as he entered the room. "We can now start the examination. If one of you would like to go first, just raise your hand."

All three boys looked nervously at each other before Jimin raised his hand.

"Ah yes Jimin-ssi," Dr. Lee said as he pulled out a box of light blue plastic gloves. "If you don't mind you can sit on this cot right here, and I'll pull the screen so we can get started."

Jimin flashed the others a nervous smile before hopping on the cot. Taehyung's nerves came right back when Dr. Lee scooted his chair over to the cot and pulled this white screen blocking the view of the two boys.

Both the two brunettes looked at each other worriedly.

"I'm scared hyung," Jungkook said nervously, looking Taehyung in the eye.

"D-Don't b-be," Taehyung whispered back, failing to hide his nervousness. "I'm n-not."

Both of them laughed at Taehyung's failed reassurance, making the uneasy feelings get a little better. The two of them both jumped at the sound of the white cloth screen pulling back.

"Whats's so funny?" Jimin asked, his normal smile returning to his face. "I didn't think watching me go behind a screen was that funny?"

"It's nothing Jimin-hyung," Jungkook laughed. 

After Jimin sat down Taehyung leaned over to him and whispered into his ear. "What did he do to you?"

Jimin turned and smiled to the worried boy. "It's fine Tae. Don't be worried."

Taehyung nodded, his worried still continue to boil. So far he had nothing bad had happen to him, but that didn't mean anything could. 

"Alright," Dr. Lee finished putting away his clipboard. "Taehyung, would you like to go next?"

Shocked at hearing his name Taehyung hesitantly stood up.

"S-Sure," Taehyung whispered, barely audible.

Smiling Dr. Lee went and sat back down on his swivel chair near the cot. "If you can lay down here just like Jimin."

Hesitantly Taehyung walked over to the cot and lied down. He flinched when his back touched the cold paper.

"Cold, right?" Dr. Lee laughed as he pulled the screen, blocking Taehyung's view from his friends.

"Now," Taehyung gulped at the sudden tension as Dr. Lee pulled out his sheet. "On the form my nurse had you fill out before I came some of the questions were about abdominal pain. It shows here that you checked the 'yes' box, would you like to tell me where?"

"High pain." Taehyung choked out. 

"Upper abdominal pain?" Dr. Lee asked before getting a nod from Taehyung. "Alright do you mind lifting up your shirt?"

Taehyung's fear building up even more as he lifted up his shirt. 

"You're okay don't worry," Dr. Lee smiled as he brought his gloved hands to Taehyung's abdomen. "Just tell me when you feel pain."

After a few moments Dr. Lee started making his way over to the right side, that's when the pain started coming.

"Ow," Taehyung whimpered as a sudden pain flared in his abdomen.

"Sorry," Dr. Lee instantly removed his hand. Dr. Lee looked down at the sheet and made a quick mark on his sheets. "Is there anything else. Something like sudden weight loss, fatigue, vomiting, or nausea?" 

Shifting awkwardly on the table Taehyung breathed heavily. "Well, um, I have lost more weight than normal. And I guess I've been more tired lately."

"Okay," Dr. Lee tilted back in his chair like he was thinking, making Taehyung's nerves grow. "I'm going to have you get up. Then, me and you are going to take a quick walk to the man hospital area so we can get you in for an ultrasound."

"U-Ultras-sound?" Taehyung muttered nervously as he sat up.

Pulling back the curtain Dr. Lee turned to the other guys. "Me and Taehyung are going to go to the main hospital for an ultrasound. You guys are fine if you want to join us, you guys can just follow me."

The walk down to the ultrasound was quiet, Taehyung shaking with nerves the whole time. As they reached the room Dr. Lee had Taehyung lay down on a bed again and lift his shirt. This time, however, Dr. Lee put a clear liquid all over Tae's stomach and used this prob-like thing against it.

"The screen, you can see things here." Dr. Lee pointed behind him to a small screen with a blurry black-and-white photo. "Just what I thought." Dr. Lee sighed as he pulled back the prob. 

"W-What?" Taehyung asked terrified. The way he sounded made Taehyung's stomach drop. Something told him that he may not be performing for a while.

"Nothing," Dr. Lee muttered. "I do though have one last question to ask you and I need you to be dead honest with me, understood."

Taehyung nodded shakily.

"Have you had any diarrhea in the past few days?" Dr. Lee asked.

"Not necessarily diarrhea, but yes, I have been having a fair amount of poop." Taehyung barely whispered, tears coming to his eyes.

"With your bad abdominal pain and weight loss, Taehyung I think you need a Colonoscopy."

"C-Colonoscopy?" Taehyung whispered, his jaw dropping to the floor, pain striking the boys heart as he felt tears fall."

Hello everyone this is the second part to go for UNEXCPECTED. The next part will be the last. As I mentioned previously school has started back up again making my life more busy, so I wanted to get a finished and approved part out even if it was shorter than I originally wanted, so I am sorry about that.

Anyways, Hobi gets released this October! After that only five more to go. I'm looking forward to his return, even though for me it didn't feel that long Jin's felt longer.

On a different note, I am thinking about releasing a new story that will be ATEEZ and has been in the works for a year+. If you know a little about my account, I do have another story called Family Roller Coaster which is a Stray Kids Family AU. That will still be on hiatus for some other reasons I'm not ready to speak about. But if you think I should release the ATEEZ story let me know. If you do I'll probably release some teasers and trailers for it on my account so make sure to follow (I'm joking you don't need to just you reading this is enough ily guys<3!
