Beomgyu - I don't want to ride

It was a hot day in South Korea, with temperatures reaching above 100° (37.8°C), which is considered hot by most people's standards. Most families were enjoying nice beach days or fun outdoor activities. Not TXT though.

Because TXT-Log had become a topic of discussion lately amongst MOA, HYBE Labels took it upon themselves to make an episode of the log unforgettable for the viewers. And that is exactly how the members ended up in front of a Riding Stables.

"Let's go, hurry up guys!" Kai yelled as he sped to the entrance. All day he'd been annoyingly happy, so happy that Taehyun had asked one of their managers if they had any duck tape.

Everyone else besides the maknae had been pretty chill and quiet. But the award for the overall quietest member went to Beomgyu. All day he'd not made a sound in front of the camera, only speaking when he had made small talks with Yeonjun in the van ride. And that was because of a little secret Beomgyu kept.

When Beomgyu was younger, his parents had decided that he and his older brother would be taking horse riding lessons over summer break. Only, to his parent's disappointment, Beomgyu didn't even last through a whole class. When the lady running the lesson suggested that Beomgyu and his brother get on the horse, the boys were static. Sadly somewhere along the short ride around the pen Beomgyu lost control of his horse and fell off. Long story short, Beomgyu ended up in the hospital with a broken rib, broken collar bone, broken arm, and a concussion from falling off the horse.

So now being in front of one of the places that held the animal he hated the most, Beomgyu felt scared. As everyone else started walking forward Beomgyu still stayed in place, his feet felt heavy as they stuck to the ground.

Beomgyu jumped when he felt something sink into his hands. Looking down he saw Yeonjun's hand intertwine with his, a small piece of comfort coming from the gesture. Yeonjun knew about his best friend's fear. The younger had confided the secret in him while out drinking one night.

"Let's go Gyu," Yeonjun had whispered to the quiet boy as he led Beomgyu into the Stables.

It was dead as TXT entered the Stables. The only somewhat excited one was Kai, who even now had started quieting down.

"Hello, boys," a man was standing in the entrance room—a big smile on his face.

"Hello," everyone answered, bowing politely.

"My name is Mr. Song, and I'll be your instructor." The man smiled, looking at the boys.

Beomgyu swallowed nervously as the others started introducing themselves. It had now sort of started to sink into what he was going to be doing.

As Yeonjun finished introducing himself, he looked at the nervous boy beside him and gave his hand a comforting squeeze.

"Um, m-my name i-is Beomgyu," Beomgyu introduced himself quietly.

Mr. Song smiled at the boys. "Alright, follow me so I can show you around the place."

Beomgyu gulped as the group began walking. The stable wasn't how the one he'd had his accident in looked, but it looked kind of similar. As the group continued walking through the stables, the other members started getting more lively. An excited current followed the members as they walked around the wooden building. All except for Beomgyu who had stayed quiet. None of the members had shoved a camera in his face, all of them silently agreeing something was a little off with him.

"Is this a whip?" Yeonjun asked from next to Beomgyu, as the boy pointed to a long rope on the countertop. The group had stopped in a room that was filled with different horse gear.
