Ni-ki was exhausted. After spending hours in the practice room perfecting his moves, he was still not satisfied with his performance from earlier. The other members had already gone home, but Ni-ki stayed behind, driven by the need to improve. His body was pleading for rest, but his determination pushed him forward.

On his way home, he logged into Weverse to engage with fans. The overwhelming support and encouragement from them fueled his motivation. Although there were a few hurtful comments, he chose to focus on the positive, knowing that the support from Engene was a powerful source of strength.

As he scrolled through the app and replied to a few fans, he noticed some mentioning their work with photography majors and inquiring about it. He took a moment to respond to those comments too. Then, feeling a lingering thought about the girl, he decided to text her.

The boy's finger hovered over the call button before he decided to switch to FaceTime. After a few rings, the girl answered.

"Hey, I thought you were just going to do a voice call," Hyejin said, setting her phone down on her desk.

"I was, but then I saw the FaceTime option," he replied with a thumbs up.

"LOL, where are you going?" Hyejin asked, noticing he was in a car.

"I'm heading home," he said, looking tired.

"Oh, is practice finally over? Does that mean the members are with you?" she asked, sounding a bit self-conscious.

"No, they already went home. I stayed a bit longer to practice," Ni-ki said, stifling a yawn.
