Hyejin had a relatively free day—she had caught up on most of her schoolwork and didn't have any photoshoots lined up. Deciding to make the most of her free time, she invited her friends over for a movie marathon.

Opting for comfort over style since she'd be staying in, Hyejin dressed in simple shorts and a gray sweatshirt. She tidied up the dorm a bit so it wouldn't look too chaotic when her friends arrived.

About half an hour later, Hayun and Yejun showed up with a variety of snacks for their movie binge.

"What are we watching?" Yejun asked in a singsong voice.

"We're watching the Marvel movies," Hyejin replied as she began pouring the snacks into bowls.

The four friends settled into the living room as the first movie started. However, about forty minutes into the second film, they found themselves more engrossed in conversation than the TV.

"I can't wait for the holidays. I will finally get a break from school," Yejun said.

"My mom wants me to visit them for the holidays," Jiwoo mentioned.

"You're going back to America for the holidays, then?" Hayun asked, munching on popcorn.

"Yeah, I think I will. I kind of miss my parents," Jiwoo replied, thinking about her family.

"I'm heading back to Busan for the holidays. Hayun, you're coming with me, right?" he asked since they had lived next door to each other for most of their lives.

"Yeah, I want to go home for a bit," Hayun replied. "What about you, Hyejin? Are you going home?"

"I don't think so. I don't think my mom will even be in town for the holidays this year," Hyejin said, glancing down at her lap.

"So, you're just staying alone for two weeks?" Hayun asked, looking concerned.

"I'll probably end up hanging out with Ni-ki," Hyejin said, thinking about the boy.

"You guys hang out?" Hayun asked teasingly. Hyejin could only nod shyly, remembering her moments with Ni-ki.

"How do you even hang out with someone who can't be seen out in public?" Yejun asked curiously.

Hyejin explained that she visited his dorm and they played video games together. She also mentioned hanging out with him in the Hybe building.

"Wait, you were at his dorm the night I called you at eleven-thirty when you still weren't home?" Jiwoo asked, recalling her concern about Hyejin being out late.

As Hyejin prepared to answer, she couldn't help but blush, remembering the almost-kiss with Ni-ki just before Jiwoo's call.

"Omg, you're blushing! What happened at his dorm?" Hayun asked excitedly, noticing her friend's reaction.
