The Fathful Meeting

The scene cuts to the inside of the house as Sonia is now inside Ozzy's cage. Tom gently pokes her head with a spatula and moves it a little. While he does this, he notices the quill he got from her and then the realization hits him.

Tom: "The blue devil...!"

Pondering on what to do in the counter, he picks up his phone in order to take a photo of him, only to drop it on the floor and stumbling back, getting startled by seeing the hedgehog up and free from her cage.

Sonia: "Donut Lord...?"

Tom: "You can talk! You're not... you're not here to abduct me, are you?"

Sonia: "You abducted and knocked me out!"

Tom: "Okay, that's a fair point. What are you? Why were you hiding out in my garage?"

Sonia: "I needed somewhere safe to hide, and y-you're the only person i could think of, Donut Lord!"

Tom: "*weirded out* Why do you keep calling me Donut Lord!?"

Sonia: "'Cause you talk to donuts... and then eat them if they get out of line. I mean, I would just call you because that's your real name, but I'd rather stick with nicknames because it's fun."

Tom: "Again, fair."

Sonia: "Wawawait... where are all the mushrooms? Why am I still on Earth? What did- *gasps* Oh, no! I lost my Rings!"

Tom: "What?!"

Before he could get any answers, he hears Robotnik's truck approaching.

Tom: "What's happening? Is this your mother ship? *while heading to take a look through the window* I'm not in the mood to get probed."

Sonia: "You think you're worried? I'm trying not to panic here about my missing rings!"

Tom: "*spotting the doctor's truck* What the...?"

Sonia: "AAAAAH!"

The hedgehog yelps and throws the curtains aside, now in full panic mode.

Sonia: "I knew it! They're coming for me!"

Tom: "Who's coming for you, and what does that have to do with me?"

Sonia: "I don't have time to explain, but you have to help me!"

Tom: "No I don't! *quickly changing his tone to not make things worse* ...why?"

Sonia: "Well, my legs, which normally would be classified as plan escape, feel like spaghetti. I need your help, please... it's life or death..."

After thinking about it, he begrudgingly makes his decision to accept her proposal.

Tom: "Fine, come with me."

He leaves, and Sonia follows suit unsuccessfully, as she faceplants into the floor soon after.

Sonia: "*slightly muffled* Uh... a little help?"

Robotnik is seen examining more footprints from the hedgehog with his gloves. The camera cuts to the attic as Tom helps Sonia up there.

Tom: "All right, stay here... and be quiet."

Sonia: "*before getting interrupted by Tom closing the attic door* Good plan, great plan! We're already working so well together! Practically thinking the same ideas- o-okay bye."

Tom goes outside and spots Robotnik on the walkway.

Tom: "Hello there! Can I help you? "

Robotnik: "*while approaching him* Good morning, my rural chum. I'mmmmm... from the power company, investigating the blackout. If you don't mind, i'd like to take a few readings inside your house?"
