Slindokuhle's POV:
I was now invited to a party. One of the biggest parties at school. As long as Neo will be there, I was chill.
I kept on biting my nails away in Afrikaans.
Sthe: "Mhm mhm mhm, what's on your mind now?"
I snapped out of my trance. Him.
Slee: "It's hot, and you're literally in front of the board. You are obscuring my view??"
He moves and drags a chair to sit next to me."So I've heard?"
Slee: "Heard yani?"
Sthe: "Fiesty much? I like that. Ungathi uyaphapha lamanga. Or yini, i-ex yakho beka toxic?"
Slee: "No, uyadina. I'm actually nice and very kind to normal human beings."
Sthe: "You have problems, but anginandaba. Siya's party, huh?"
I throw my arms in the air. "I didn't want to go."
Sthe: "Then don't?"
That escalated really quickly, and it was offensive. "Why shouldn't I?"
Sthe: "You seem forced, and you look like you drink. It's pretty tough out there. Uzobona."
With that, he stands and literally drags his chair to his table. This kid??
The bell rings for the last period, and I WAS EXHAUSTED. I couldn't bear being in the same space with Sthembiso.
He is so forward that it's irritating. He is annoying, and yes, he looks
good.
Siya and Sthe are picked up in a nice SUV that looks like my parents' salary for 10 years. They are rich. Sthembiso, to be specific. As they chat, they pass us and approach the car.
For one moment, my ears started ringing.

My driver picked Siya and I up to go shopping. The party is this week, and I couldn't wait!
For some reason, I couldn't still understand why Siya invited Slindokuhle. She's cool but innocent. I would invite Neo, but Slee, ai no man.
We pass Slindokuhle, who seems to be staring at my car. And yeah, it's mine. I wasn't allowed to drive it cause I'm still 17. Matrics were the one allowed to bring their cars to school. My dad tried to pull some strings, but nuh, uh, didn't work.
I felt a ringing sensation as we walked past Slee. The heck?
I look at her. She seems to be dizzy.
All of a sudden, my legs walk up to her. I start running. What the heck is going on?
I arrive by her side, and my body does the talking. I could hear Siya calling me, but my body didn't want to respond. It was like as if someone started controlling me.
Sthe: "Are you alright?"
Slee: "I'm fine..."
Her voice was low, and I noticed Neo coming out of the school gates.
My hand suddenly grabbed hers, and we were walking out of the school.
Siya called my name, but I still couldn't answer. My grip hardened, and she did the same. We walked for about 5 minutes till we stopped near a veld.
I snap out of the trance.
Slee: "Ngifunani la?"
Sthe: " Huh?" I was panting and out of breath. "Nam angazi.."
Her face was full of confusion?
