In the reversed position, the Temperance card indicates imbalance, discord, and impatience. You might be going through a period of excess in various aspects of your life, such as overindulging in food, alcohol, or spending. It's a warning sign to regain equilibrium and adjust your actions.
I hissed in pain as the brisk wind whipped at my shoulders and made my hair go all in my face in the light of my dream. The dark sky echoed cries of thunder above me as I stood alone in a field of decaying grass. Wisps of ash came from the disintegrating stalks, making the field look like it was infested with flies that twitched and whispered over a dead carcass. I was completely alone in a dark field. I wore nothing but a simple white canvas dress that scratched uncomfortably against my skin. I hugged myself, looking around me in confusion. I'd been in the library sleeping on Osiris not a moment before. Where was I?
"You're in old Lymbo." A voice echoed from behind me, so loud it made the ground beneath my feet vibrate and quiver as if the earth itself was afraid. Something, some small voice in my head told me not to turn around. I decided to listen, instead of staring ahead at the infinite horizon.
"Am I dreaming?" I asked it. The voice chuckled, growing a little closer in proximity. "Not one for small talk, eh? But yes. You are safely snuggled against that boy in the library, tucked away from whatever threat you cannot see.' It murmured, so close I could feel whispering heat tickle the back of my neck. I tensed."What do you want?" I asked it. It was silent for a moment.
"You and your friends are in danger, Jasmine." It murmured.
"Why's that? Is it the Malum Dante?" I asked.
More silence.
"Not exactly. It's more like a parasite. Her name is Discoura." The voice whispered back to me.
I bit my lip. This was probably some fever dream. A discord parasite? Haunting me in particular? The idea seemed so far fetched, so impossible. I furrowed my brows.
"How do I know you're not some figment of my imagination?" I hissed, hugging myself tighter.
"You don't, I suppose. But you have to trust me." It murmured back, a touch desperate.
I squeezed my eyes shut. "Fine. What sent you here? Who are you?" I asked.
"You ask too many questions, Jasmine."
"You could at least answer some of them." I snapped back, irritation swelling in my throat. It chuckled, the earth tremoring beneath me.
"I'm afraid I cannot.""Why's that?" I asked, balling my fists and digging my toes into the ashen dirt.
"If you know my name, terrible things will be guaranteed to happen." The voice answered lazily. I gritted my teeth.
"What the fuck do you want me to know? Or do you just want me to stay asleep here forever?" I growled through gritted teeth.
The voice was silent for a moment.
"To make you remember, Aenan of the Red Dawn."

I awoke with a loud gasp, cold sweat drenching my shirt and face. I panted as memories of the dream solidified in my head, and the ones from the night before hit me like a train wreck. Osiris was gone, and all the candles had been blown out what looked like long ago.
Pheonix. She was alive, And I had to find her. Fuck Rhys for now. She could be emo by herself for now.I slammed the library door open and started down the hall.
I had to get out of this hellhole of a castle. Unfortunately, the universe had ulterior plans for me.
