My plane only took eight hours, from Nashville. I got to the hotel by five in the morning. I walked to the front desk.
"Name please ma'am." I looked down, at the tiny desk woman.
"Cassie Hunter."
"Ah yes here you are. You're booked in the Master Suite Room."
Wait, I thought I didn't book a ro.... Stephanie.
"Mind me asking, but who booked this room?"
"That would be... Stephanie McMahon. Something about you having some much needed rest."
"Ah okay thank you."
"No problem, ma'am. Here is your room key; and she also told us that any room service was on her." She handed me the room key.
"Thank you." I walked to the elevator... How the hell did she know that I was going to be here earlier than Saturday?... Oh well.
I got to my room and got inside. I locked up the door, with all the five locks, since I never trust anything. I walked into the room and saw nothing but space. Holy Shit! It was the largest room, I have ever seen.
On the desk, there was a note and a brochure. The letter read...
Dear Cassie,
Thank you very much, for making it. Your manager called and said that you were on your way, and should be here, by around five or six. So therefore, I got a room for you. I promise not to bother you, until you're ready. Please give me a call and I will come pick you up. I hope you like this hotel. It has a wonderful workout room, and a huge pool. Enjoy your stay! Can't wait to work with you.
Sincerely,
Stephanie McMahon.
I smiled at the thought of my manager calling ahead of time. She probably thought that I would sleep in my rental truck. There ain't no damn way I would rent a car. Ugh! I got into my workout shorts and tank top. I crawled into the bed and fell asleep in a matter on minutes.
PAUL HEYMAN P.O.V.
5:45 am
I woke up, when my alarm goes off. I get up and check my phone, for any messages. There was one. It was from Stephanie.
Message: Hey Paul. We have another UFC fighter in the WWE. Look her up. Name's Cassie Hunter.
I looked up Cassie Hunter and saw the latest news feed of her... Oh man, Brock was going to love this.
BROCK LESNAR P.O.V.
"Brock... Brock... Brock wake up..." I heard Paul's voice. I opened my eyes, slightly and turned my head a little.
"What now Paul!? I'm trying to sleep." I rolled my head back onto the pillow.
"I know, Brock, but you have to see this. There's a new UFC Heavyweight Champ."
I turned over to him and sat up. "What!?"
"Here read this."
He handed me his phone and I read the latest story.
"Cassie Hunter. The first ever female to hold the UFC Heavyweight belt? No way in hell... Whoa damn she's cute." I mumbled the last part to me. "Wow and to think the UFC was worse when I was there." I said handing the phone back to Paul. "Ugh what time is it?" I questioned, as I rubbed my eyes.
"6:30. Took me some time to read about her."
"Really? She has that much of a back story? I never even heard of her until now." I give him a questioning look.
"Oh yeah. Here read this." He handed me his phone and read the whole thing. By time I was done, it was 7:35. Whoa... time for me to get up and exercising. I stood up and walked to the bathroom; but before I went in, I stopped and looked at Paul.
"Hey Paul. We really need two different rooms. I'm getting tired of people asking things I hate."
"Yeah. I agree." I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth and washed my face. I walk back into the room and grab my workout gear. I change, in the bathroom and go to the workout room. There I see Triple H (Paul). I walk up to him and get on the bike, beside him.
"Hey Brock. How did you sleep?" He questions me, as I start out.
"Good. You?"
"Good. Always great when you have that one person, by your side."
"Yeah? I don't miss Rena (Sable), and, well... I don't miss sleeping with her. It was like hugging a cactus. I know, and I would much rather hug the cactus."
"Yeah. I'm sorry she cheated on you, though. So have you heard that Stephanie hired another UFC fighter?"
"Um yeah. I just read about her, this morning. Cassie Hunter... correct?"
"Yup. I met her, back in 2000."
"You've known her since 2000?"
"Yeah. That was back, when she was first signed with the WWE; but she had things come up and couldn't participate in the events."
"Ah okay. Wait would she have been going right into the WWE, back then?"
"Yeah. She had been in a wrestling school for four years, back then. Funking Conservatory to be exact."
"Really? The one school that has Hall of Famer Dory Funk Jr. as the head trainer?"
"Yup." After talking for about two hours, we stopped and said goodbye.
CASSIE P.O.V.
I woke up and rolled over. I saw the time and decided to lay back and relax, for a few at least. After laying around, I decided to finally get up and get going. I dialed Steph's number and told her to come get me.
I got changed and met Steph downstairs. We walk and talk to her car and talked until we made it to the arena. As we walked into her, temporary office, I looked around. I saw Big Show, Kane, Ryback, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns.
"Attention everyone. I want the members of The Authority to meet up in the conference room, in about fifteen minutes." Steph announced. She led me to the office and closed the door behind us.
"Cass. I can't show how much this means to have you here. I have heard nothing but great things about you, and I have to so excited for this moment. For you to be here, in the WWE, it means a lot to not only myself, but my husband and my father. I was wondering... Would you want to become the newest member of The Authority?"
"I would love too. That way I can kick ass whenever I want."
"Okay cool. Let's go to the conference room, so we can talk to the rest of The Authority."
"Okay." I get up and walk to the conference room, where I saw Kane, Big Show, Seth Rollins, Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury and Triple H.
"Alright guys... This here is Cassie Hunter. Our newest member of the WWE and The Authority. Now Cass, here is my plan... I want you to show yourself, after I introduce you and then... I'm going to need you to knock someone out."
"Um okay." Steph didn't give me any more info. She takes me back to the hotel and I walk up to my room. I close the door behind me and fell onto the bed. I curled up and fell asleep.
