-Allay Village | Thearain | Overworld-
Throbbing pain from her chest and head were the first things she felt when she woke up. Her face scrunched from pain as she slowly moved herself up into a sitting position. She gently gripped the blue sheets of the bed in Lazure's guest bedroom. She sighed in relief as the pain died down after she stopped moving. A few moments later, the door opened and Yuki walked in while holding a box in his arms. He smiled at Andera and sat the box down on the bed next to her.
"I see you woke up despite it being only a few hours since you passed out"
Yuki said as he sat down on the seat next to the bed. He reached over and opened the box, there was more food that Andera recognised to be from her favourite baker. Andera's eyes shone a bit, Yuki smirked with amusement as he knew that Andera would react this way.
"I knew you'd be happy to eat your baked potatoes with jam"
Yuki said with a small implication of mockery and teasing lining his voice. Andera's eyes narrowed at Yuki before she grabbed a baked potato with blueberry jam, and whipped cream with a blueberry on top. The door opened again as Andera was still munching on her blueberry baked potato. Lazure walked in, he looked at Andera with a deadpan look and a small smile.
"I see someone still has an obsession with baked potatoes... Does she still have a strawberry addiction?"
Lazure asked in a teasing voice, his dark blue eyes held amusement as he regarded her and Yuki. yuki was trying not to laugh but it was difficult with the look that Andera gave them.
"S-she still does... Pft- hahaha!"
"Really? (Muffled)" It isn't that funny...
Lazure lightly chuckled as Yuki laughed. Andera looked away as she finished her baked potato. She grabbed another baked potato, one that had a strawberry jam filling. Andera could feel the throbbing pain coming back again so she reached out to grab a glass bottle with a deep purple-red colour off of the bedside table. She downed it quickly and ate her baked potato to rid the taste of the regenerative potion.
It wasn't that the regenerative potion tasted bad, it was better tasting than certain other potions. It was the fact that Andera was sensitive to tastes, it was why she preferred being able to taste natural things through the wind like the salty ocean taste that she was used to.
"Andera...?"
Andera looked up after Lazure said her name in a soft voice. She noticed that Lazure was holding the Lorekeeper's Talisman out to her. She grabbed it out of his hands gently, playing with its chain so it connected to the Yin & Yang necklace chain.
"Truth be told... I don't actually need it since I could deal with Deceit all on my own... But I didn't want to make it so she escaped the seal easier..."
Andera explained as she grabbed another baked potato, this time a chocolate one. She ate the chocolate baked potato and whispered the last part to herself slowly, just to savour the taste. Lazure seemed to have already figured her out before she did the trial. Yuki seemed conflicted, looking at her injuries and the talisman.
"Yo- Why go through the trouble and gain injuries if it was avoidable...?"
Yuki questioned, his silver eyes wide as he stared at Andera. Lazure stayed silent as he leaned back, he wasn't going to answer for her. Yuki didn't seem to hear what she whispered but Lazure did. Only those who knew about what happened a millennia ago knew what she was.
"One. I can't rely on my own power when it's unstable... Two. The Lorekeeper's Talisman is powerful enough to break through Deceit's power"
Andera explained simply as her blue crystalline eyes stared into Yuki's silver eyes. Yuki was about to say something but decided to not push things any further. Andera smiled as she grabbed another strawberry baked potato. Lazure suddenly got up and left the room without a word, his wings leaving loose feathers in their wake.
"Where is he-?"
Yuki asked before Andera held up a hand. Her eyes were narrowed as she seemed to be trying to figure out something she was sensing. There was an unknown aura just outside of the village. The aura was corrupted and... cold which wasn't right as there were only two beings with a cold aura that corrupted.
"Go..."
Andera told Yuki, he got up and left without question. If he followed behind Lazure's path, he'll start sensing it when he gets closer. That sort of coldness was only sensed when it came to Valensiren and Frostbite. The former was with her and the latter... hasn't been active for centuries.
"If it isn't either of them... Then the original creator is back..."
Andera mused to herself, she looked up suddenly. The aura was gone and replaced with a new and different aura. An incredibly familiar aura, an aura that belonged to a person they were anticipating to show up.
