Day Two

When I woke up, I was surprised to see Kelsey laying partially on top of me.
I wanted to go back to sleep. But an unknown noise kept me awake.
I sat up, gently pushed Kelsey off of me, and tucked my sleeping mat over her so she wouldn’t be cold. Then, I slowly zipped open the tent and stepped out.
The noise was coming from the other tent, so I quietly walked towards it.
But I regret ever being curious, because when I zipped open the tent, I saw Deadpool and Peter on top of each other, making out.
I immediately felt a scream come up my throat, but I covered my eyes and mouth fast enough that I didn’t.
“Buenos días perra!” I heard Deadpool say.
I ran away with my eyes covered, and bumped into what felt like a tree.
I rested my head on it, forcing my eyes shut, and stood there for a solid three minutes, trying to unsee everything.
I am once again traumatised.
Then a warm hand touched my back, and it startled me.
A gasp escaped my mouth.
“Sorry.” Kelsey said.
(So glad it wasn't Deadpool)
I put my hand on my chest, and breathed heavily.
“You’re okay.” I said, still traumatised.
“Why are you out here by yourself?” She asked.
“He’s just a curious little marshmallow.” Deadpool said, from behind me.
My cheeks were on fire.
“I didn’t know–” I said, covering my face.
Deadpool put his hand on my shoulder.
“You can be next if you want.” He whispered in my ear.
This is why I hated him. When I said that he ‘Bullied’ me, this is what I meant. His way of bullying, was flirting with people and embarrassing them.
He has a crush on me, which is why I hate him.
“Well?” Deadpool said.
I hadn’t noticed that I zoned off.
I glanced at Deadpool’s waist. His belt and pouches weren't on his suit, so he looked a bit naked.
“What?” I asked, because I couldn’t tell if he had said something that I missed.
“Leave him alone Deadpool.” Kelsey said, taking Deadpool's hand off my shoulder.
“Oh right he’s your  boyfriend.” Deadpool said, in a mean girly tone.
“Could I just take a walk?” I asked, angrily, as I slowly turned my gaze to Deadpool.
“By myself.” I said firmly.
Deadpool turned away and ran to his tent.
Then he jumped into it.
A couple seconds later, I saw Peter scramble out of the tent, wearing nothing but underwear.
Deadpool chased Peter around the campsite saying,
“Petey-y, ready for round two?”
I looked back at Kelsey.
“Don’t be too long.” Kelsey said to me.
“Righto’.” I responded.
Then I turned around and headed further up the mountain.
I walked, and walked, trying to clear my head. And I didn’t feel like turning around.
Eventually I made it to the top, and looked out at the view.
It was astonishing.
I could see most of the island from up here.
The trees were a very unique shape, very different from the ones in my neighbourhood. The colours were extremely vibrant.
I looked up at the sky, all the clouds looked like pink marshmallows with the sunrise.
And for a moment, I thought there was nothing to worry about.
I gave a sigh of relief as I felt raindrops land down on my face.
But then I heard a growl behind me.
I spun around in shock, and of course, there was a beast of somesort. I had no idea what kind of beast, but it didn’t matter because I was already darting in the opposite direction of the thing.
And I didn’t turn around until I reached the cliffside.
“Biscuits.” I barked.

The rain was still sprinkling down, and it felt like I would slip and fall off the cliff.
I was cornered.
Time seemed to slow down, as the beast charged right for me. My life flashed before my eyes, and I had an instinct to jump out of the way.
So I closed my eyes, and jumped off the cliff.

But I didn’t fall.
I seemed as if I was standing on solid ground.
Or so I thought.
I opened my eyes, and looked down at my feet.
There were glowing mists of neon rainbow underneath them.
I was standing on the rain.
Somehow.
But the beast was still slashing at me, so I started running, in mid air.
The beast tried swiping at me, but I was too far away. And I saw it attempt to walk on the rain but I didn’t look back to see if it did or not.
I started running, looking down as I did.
I had a power.
This was awesome. I ran in circles in the rain, sliding around.
I ran in one direction, but then I ran out of rain.
I fell straight down, feeling like a complete tool.
I braced myself for impact, knowing that it wouldn't do any good since I fell from a great height.
But instead of feeling pain, or dying, I hit the ground, and the earth crumbled around me.
I sprinted towards the camp, hoping not to cross another beast.
When I got there, I saw Kelsey waiting for me.
“You’re alive.” She said to me, when I was close to her.
Deadpool ran up behind her,
“We thought you died!” He said.
“No, I'm fine.” I said, as Kelsey gave me a hug.
“What happened?” She asked me.
“I think I have a power.”
Everyone went silent.
“Ha! You have a power? I thought you were an oddball.” Deadpool scoffed.
“I thought so too.” I responded.
“Well? Show us then!” Kelsey said eagerly.
I looked up and saw the rain clouds blowing closer.
Then I ran towards it, and stepped up onto the rain, as if I was walking up stairs.
“Holy shit!” Deadpool yelled.
“Woah!” Kelsey added.
I looked down at them, and saw Peter, who was behind them, drop the thing he was holding, and look up at me.
“Watch this–” I yelled down to them.
Then I jumped out of the rain and landed on the ground, again making the earth crumble around me.
They all almost fell backwards.
“How did you do that?!” Kelsey squealed.
“I don’t know.” I said, brushing dust off of me.
Which was when I realised that I wasn't wet.
“That was so cool!” Kelsey said, as she ran up to me.
“Holy shit, that was so hot.” Deadpool said quietly to himself.
“You didn’t know you had powers?” Peter asked me.
“Not until just now.” I responded.
“How did you find out?” He asked.
“It started raining, then some, thing  chased me, so I jumped off the ledge into the rain, and stood in mid air.”
Everyone stared at me for a moment.
“Did it have three metal claws on each hand?” Deadpool asked.
“Are you ok?” Kelsey asked.
“I’m all good.” I responded, totally ignoring Deadpool’s question.
Kelsey smiled at me.
“We should get going.” Deadpool said, as he walked towards his tent.
“Where exactly?” I asked, as I stomped over to him,
“We’re stuck here. Thanks to you.” I said firmly, as I shoved my pointer finger into Deadpool's stupid muscular chest.
“Okay, I’m sorry. But at least we can spend some quality time together, right?” Deadpool wrapped his fist around my finger.
“You're so annoying.” I said in frustration, as I yanked my finger out.
“So tense. Don’t worry, we will find a way off this island soon enough.”
I took a step back.
“Good.” I scoffed.
I turned around and headed for my tent.
Once inside, I gathered up all of mine and Kelsey’s stuff, and took down the tent. I didn’t let Kelsey help because I didn’t want her to do any work.
“I can help with that.” Kelsey said.
But I’d interrupt with,
“It’s ok, I got it.”
I didn’t know if I was doing it to impress her, but it worked.
We took a couple extra minutes to make sure we had all the supplies, then we grouped up.
“Got everything?” Peter asked Deadpool.
“I think so-” Deadpool said, as he stared inside his backpack.
“Give it back!” He yelled at Peter.
(I had no idea what he was referring to)
“You need to be punished for your false actions last night!” Peter yelled back.
“Last night?” I thought.
“But It’s mine!” Deadpool yelled, grabbing Peter by the throat.
I ran over to them,
“Blimey! Deadpool let go of his throat!”
He looked at me, then let go.
“Tell him to give it back!” Deadpool crossed his arms and pouted like a baby.
“What did he take?” I asked.
“He stole my fetish—”
“Stuffed animal.” Peter cut off Deadpool.
“You brought a stuffed animal to school with you?” I asked Deadpool.
“It goes with me everywhere!” Deadpool said.
Peter zipped open his bag and pulled out a small white stuffed animal unicorn, and held it with his two finger tips.
As soon as Peter lifted it completely out of the bag, Deadpool snatched the thing.
“You’re welcome.” Peter said to Deadpool, as he started to walk away.
Deadpool viciously pet his unicorn, while he looked at every inch of it.
“You sewed it?!” Deadpool screamed over at Peter.
Deadpool lifted it to his nose, and sniffed it.
“And you cleaned it?!” Deadpool said, angrily.
“I said you’re welcome!” Peter yelled back.
“Let’s find a new camp spot.” Kelsey said.
“Yes.” I said, eagerly.
We all picked up our stuff, and headed down the hill.
I was following behind Kelsey and Peter.
And Deadpool was behind me, muttering some words to himself.
I couldn’t quite decipher what he was saying, but I tried ignoring him.
“We're going to try and find a river!” Peter yelled back to me and Deadpool.
I heard Kelsey and Peter giggle about something.
And I was about to run up to them, when Deapool grabbed my hand.
“What are you doing?” I scolded him.
“Can I hold your hand?” He asked.
I jerked my hand away.
“No.” I barked.
“Please?” He asked again, in a little kid voice.
“No.” I responded.
“Why not?” He asked.
I didn’t respond. Instead, I walked faster towards Kelsey and Peter.
“Wait for me-” Deadpool said, also picking up his pace.
He reached for my hand again, but I smacked his hand away.
Then I ran faster.
But he chased me.
I ran up to Kelsey and Peter, merging between them only to stop suddenly due to a river in the way.
Deadpool was still running for me, and I had a sudden thought.
I jumped onto the water (not falling in) and turned around. When Deadpool had realised that there was a river, he tried to stop himself, but he slid on a wet rock, and fell into the water.
I scoffed.
“Heyy!” He yelled at me.
Kelsey and Peter laughed.
Deadpool folded his arms, sitting in the water.
“Not funny.” He said, in a grumpy kid voice.
He sat still in the water folding his arms.
Peter then walked close to the edge, and held out a hand for Deadpool.
“Come on, get out.” Peter said to Deadpool.
Deadpool grabbed Peter’s hand, and pulled him into the river.
“Hey!” Peter yelled.
“Not really funny now, is it?” He asked Peter.
I walked across the water effortlessly, and stood next to Kelsey, staring at the two of them.
“Come on in, the water’s nice!” Deadpool said, looking at me.
“What was that for?!” Peter yelled at Deadpool.
Peter stood up, and walked out of the water, dripping all over the place.
“Great, now I’m all wet.” Peter said, angrily.
Deadpool stood up slowly.
“I just wanted to help you out of the water!” Peter yelled at Deadpool, as he jumped out of the water.
“Inside voices, Peter.” Deadpool said softly.
Deadpool walked over, and stood in front of me.
I was about to step back, but he hugged me.
And somehow I wasn't getting wet from his drenched lower body.
He squeezed me gently, but he was pressing his lower half against mine, and I didn’t like that.
I put my hands on his waist and tried pushing him away. But Peter must’ve thought I was doing something else because he said,
“Should I turn around or something?”
I put my hands back by my sides, But he still held on.
“Let’s never let go.” He said.
I used all my strength and shoved him away from me, then walked away.
And I didn’t look behind me.
I walked along the river for a while until I heard footsteps behind me.
I turned my head slightly, leaving my feet in place.
 It was Deadpool.
“What do you want.” I said to him.
“Another hug.” He responded.
I turned my head back and started to walk away.
“Why don’t you like me?” He asked.
I could hear him step closer.
I stopped walking.
“I don’t know.” I said.
“How does that make you able to treat me like this ?” He asked.
“Well, I–”
I didn't finish my sentence.
I knew that he liked me.
But my heart belongs to Kelsey, right?
She’s the only one I’ve felt some sexual attraction towards.
But I still don’t know my interests.
“I like you, as a mate.” I said to him.
“For real?” Deadpool asked.
“Sure.” I responded, hoping that I wouldn't regret saying this.
I turned around and started walking back. Deadpool walked at my side.

*2 minutes later*

“Did you two have a little love chat?” Peter said.
Kelsey elbowed Peter.
I folded my arms and looked away.
“Let's set up camp, then we can roast some marshmallows.” Deadpool said to me, with a wink.
“Ha ha, very funny.” I said, in a sarcastic tone.
We all set up our camp near the river.
Kelsey set up one of the tents, and I started setting up the other.
When I had mine set up, I looked over and saw Deadpool dump out his and Peter’s backpacks.
“What the bloody hell are you doing!?” Peter yelled, as he ran over to Deadpool.
Deadpool bent down and picked up an extra tent.
“You were hiding this!” He yelled.
“I didn’t know there was another one!” Peter yelled back.
Peter took the tent from Deadpool and began to set it up.
Once all three tents were set up, we had to decide who was sleeping in them.
“I think I should get my own tent since I’m the only girl here.” Kelsey said.
We all agreed, then Kelsey walked over to the furthest tent, and put her stuff in it.
“Okay, what about us three?” I asked.
There were two tents and three guys.
“I’m not sleeping with Deadpool again.” Peter said, putting his hands up and backing away.
“Why not?” Deadpool asked peter.
Peter didn’t answer.
I checked my surroundings, and saw there was a very small cave in a hill.
“I can sleep out here tonight.” I said.
“No you can sleep with me, Kyle.” Deadpool said, as he grabbed my hand.
“No thanks bro .” I responded, freeing my hand from his.
Then I walked over to the cave and set up my sleeping mat.
Deadpool walked over to me.
“Are you sure you want to sleep out here? Won't you get cold?” He asked.
“If I get cold, then I might come sleep in your tent.” I said.
Deadpool nodded and walked to his tent.
“I hope I don’t get cold.” I said to myself.
I layed down, and my fragile back touched the dangerously cold, rock floor.
It was so cold that it went through the sleeping mat.
I curled up and tried to withstand the cold.
The sun went down, and I watched all the bright colours fade out, then the dark took over.
I layed there until I saw the moon get covered by clouds.
Then I pulled out my led light, laid on my sleeping mat, and fell asleep.
