When I woke up, I was very sore, and my head hurt a lot.
I opened my eyes, and was almost blinded by the sun, but I quickly closed them again. I slowly sat up and shielded my eyes from the sun. Everything was bright, but I could see that I was on the edge of a cliff, and I was next to a waterfall.
Panicked, I scrambled away from the edge until I hit the trunk of a tree.
After I caught my breath I looked behind the tree, and saw Deadpool getting dragged by some vines towards the cliff that I was left on.
I remembered the knife that Deadpool gave to me, so I pulled it out and ran over, and cut the vines off him. I watched the vines twitch for a second before curling up and stop moving.
I ran over to Deadpool, and shook him.
“Deadpool, wake up!” I yelled.
I watched his eyes slowly open as he said,
“What’s… going on?”
I made sure there were no more vines coming, then returned my knife to its case.
This was when I had realised that Peter and Kelsey were nowhere to be seen.
“Where’s Peter and Kelsey?” I asked, looking around.
Deadpool rubbed his eyes, and grabbed onto me.
“I dunno but the sun hurts my eyes.” He whined.
He sat up and used my body as a shield from the sun.
I looked behind him and saw the edge of the waterfall, and the endless ocean beyond.
I started to freak out at the sight of so much water, when I remembered that I could walk on it. I never went close to large bodies of water before, so that’s why I never found out about my power.
And now that I knew I could walk on water, I was no longer scared.
I calmed down, and hugged Deadpool back.
I became relaxed,
Until a vine pushed both of us off the edge.
I tensed up as I grabbed onto Deadpool.
Deadpool reacted faster than me by grabbing onto the edge and holding on.
“Fuck.” Deadpool groaned.
I watched as the vine loosened Deadpool’s grip on the rock, and he let go.
I aimed my feet towards the water and held onto Deadpool.
When I hit the water, it formed a big splash around us, not getting us wet.
Deadpool looked down at my feet as he grasped tightly onto me.
“That’s so fucking cool.” He said, as he stared down at my feet.
I was still getting used to my power, since I never knew I had it.
I looked around and saw land a ways in front of us.
Then I started walking.
I was about half way to land when I suddenly felt Deadpool’s grasp on me weaken, as he started falling towards the water.
By instinct, I grasped onto him firmly before he touched the water.
“What the hell was that?!” I yelled in frustration.
Deadpool nuzzled closer to me.
“I almost fell for you…. oh, I already have.” Deadpool teased.
“Ha ha, very funny.” I said sarcastically.
I was walking on shallow water now, when Deadpool put his foot down.
But his foot stood on the water.
“What the fuck?!” Deadpool cursed in amazement.
I was also shocked.
Deadpool was still grasping onto my shoulders but both his feet were standing on the water, just like me.
“How are you using my power?!” I said.
Deadpool lifted his foot up then placed it back down with more force, trying to step through the water.
“Wait, let go of me and see what happens.” I said, stepping back.
In the instant Deadpool’s hands left my shoulders, he sank into the shallow water, and his feet hit the ground.
“That’s fucking awesome! As long as I am touching you, I can use your power!” Deadpool said, as he splashed in the water.
Deadpool walked closer to me and hoisted himself up, wrapping his legs around my waist.
“Woah, Deadpool-” I said, before getting a finger pressed to my lips.
“Can I kiss you?” Deadpool asked.
I looked up into his stupidly cute eyes, and grasped onto his thighs so he wouldn’t slide down my body.
“I mean… since you asked this time…” I said, as my heart pounded.
Deadpool didn’t wait for me to finish as he pressed his lips against mine.
My heartbeat sped up as I kissed him back.
What was this feeling?
Deadpool was gripping my face so aggressively that I nearly went limp.
I felt his lips through our masks.
Which made me wonder what his face looked like.
And it made me realise that I’ve never even seen my own face before.
…
Why can’t I remember?I shot out of my daze when I heard Deadpool saying my name.
“Kyle? You ok?” He asked.
I looked at him, then stepped onto land.
“Yeah I’m fine. Uh… I was gonna ask. Can I see your face?” I said, with hesitation.
“Well… I mean…” Deadpool trailed off.
“Has anyone ever seen your face before?” I asked.
“Peter and wolvie have… and besides myself, that’s about it.” Deadpool responded.
“Can I see?”
Deadpool looked at me, then looked at the trees.
“I’m ugly.” He said softly.
I stepped closer to him.
“Don’t say that. I bet you are handsome.” I say.
Deadpool stepped back.
“No, like I am the Definition of ugly.” Deadpool stated.
I stepped even closer to him, as I pictured the image of his face in my mind.
“Show me then.” I said, as I slowly reached up to touch his mask.
Deadpool pulled my hand away.
“Let me do it.” He said softly.
I watched as he pulled his mask over and off his head.
Then my eyes processed his face.
A little too quick.
I stepped back, in shock.
His face… It looked like his skin was peeling off.
He was ugly. But I wasn’t going to tell him that.
There were scars covering his whole face, I could see them trail down his neck as well.
Not to mention.
He is bald.
Bald.
“Y-you’re.” I tried to get a word out, but nothing came.
“I told you, didn’t I?” Deadpool said, a tear forming in his eye.
Deadpool turned away from me.
I caught my breath for a second before speaking.
“What happened to you?” I said, slowly.
“It’s complicated.” He responded.
Deadpool turned around and faced me.
Then he put his hands on the sides of my mask.
“Can I?” He asked.
I was worried I was going to regret this later on.
“Wait-” I said, taking a step back.
I felt my face heat up.
Then I lifted my mask off my face.
It was like a veil being lifted from my eyes.
Like I could see more clearly or something.
Deadpool’s blue eyes seemed to sparkle.
Our eyes met.
I’ve never known my own eye colour until Deadpool said,
“Your eyes look like a blue ocean.”
“The ocean is blue, Deadpool.” I said, with a laugh.
Deadpool reached up and stroked my hair.
(I was glad that I had some)
Then he leaned closer to me and kissed me.
For real this time.
I felt his tongue plunge into my mouth as he ventured in every corner of it.
I couldn’t stop myself from doing the same.
I closed my eyes and focused on the feeling of his tongue.
And the taste.
He tasted amazing.
Deadpool grasped my head and sucked all the saliva from my mouth.
Then I felt his other hand venture to my waist, and slowly made its way to my rear.
Then that's where he grabbed.
I flinched, but didn’t stop kissing him.
Me and Deadpool were actually making out.
I didn’t know what to do except keep kissing him.
This was my first kiss.
And I don’t think I’ll forget it.
***
Some time passed before I couldn’t stand anymore.
My body temperature was increasing, and I had to stop.
I let go of Deadpool, and collapsed on the floor.
But Deadpool held onto me for support.
“You taste amazing, Kyle. I just couldn’t help myself”
I panted, as drool dripped down my chin.
Deadpool wiped my drool away with his hand.
Once I could breathe normally, I stood up.
“How did you like it?” He asked.
I wiped my mouth with my sleeve.
“It was fine, I guess.” I said as I looked up and down at Deadpool’s body.
I almost forgot he was bald.
He kinda looks cute. But ugly at the same time.
What am I thinking?!
Then I heard rustling in the bushes.
Me and Deadpool quickly reacted, and put our masks on.
Then we spun around to see the rattling bush.
I backed up behind Deadpool as he pulled out his knife.
I braced myself for what could come out, but it was only a small rabbit looking creature.
And it was holding a glowing cylinder object.
“What’s that in its mouth?” I asked.
“I’ll get it…” Deadpool said as he inched towards the creature, with the knife behind his back.
“Don’t kill it.” I whispered to him.
Deadpool reached his hand out to try and take it from the creature.
“Give it here, little guy.” Deadpool said soothingly to the creature.
Deadpool grasped around the object.
The creature looked at Deadpool then loosened its grip around the object and backed up.
Deadpool gently pulled the object out of the creature's mouth.
The creature was startled and ran away from Deadpool.
Deadpool stood up and walked over to me.
“Here ya go, hun.” Deadpool said as he handed me the object.
“Good Deadpool.” I said, as I took the object from him.
Deadpool smiled at me.
“What do you think this is?” I asked Deadpool as I examined the object.
“It looks like a dick.” Deadpool blurted out.
I laughed,
“It does.”
Deadpool looked into the deeper woods.
“We should get walking.” He said.
I agreed.
We both started walking into the woods.
Deadpool reached for my hand and wrapped his fingers around mine.
I did the same.
*5 minutes later*
We walked close together, bumping our shoulders once in a while.
“I have no idea where we are, Deadpool.” I blurted out of the silence between us.
Then I saw something shiny in the corner of my eye.
I stopped suddenly and tried to see where the light source came from.
“Did you see something?” Deadpool asked me.
I took a step back and peered through the bushes until I saw the source.
“There! I see something.” I said pointing through the bushes.
We both walked around the bush.
But this thing was bigger than I thought.
“Holy shit.” Deadpool cursed, as the huge object came to our view.
It was a large empty metal oval in the middle of a small clearing.
Trees surrounded the border around this area.
Two metal beams caught my eye on either side of the metal object.
One beam had the same glowing object that I had.
The other was empty.
“I think that glowing object goes in that metal thing.” Deadpool said.
I slowly walked over to the empty beam and slid the glowing object inside.
The second it clicked into place, it charged up and started shaking the ground around it, causing me to fall over.
Luckily Deadpool caught me before I hit the ground.
The light got brighter until it was too bright for me to see.
I covered my eyes.
Then there was a small explosion, and we were blown away from each other.
“Fuck!” I heard Deadpool curse.
My side hit the trunk of a tree, then I landed on my back.
My side stung with pain, and I was panting for air since the blow knocked the wind out of me.
After I could breathe normally, I stood up.
And I looked over where the explosion came from.
The used to be empty metal frame was now filled with a glowing blue mist that looked like it was swirling around.
Kind of like an ocean wave.
Wait, where is Deadpool?
“Deadpool?” I called out.
“Up here, baby.” Deadpool said.
I looked above me.
And there was Deadpool.
In the tree.
“How did you get up there?!” I asked.
“I just used Thor's hammer and flew up here.” Deadpool said.
I don’t get Deadpool sometimes.
“You ok?” I asked.
Deadpool pulled some sticks out of his arms.
“Nothing the ol’ healing factor can’t fix.” Deadpool responded, as he slid down the trunk of the tree.
Deadpool looked over at the portal.
“Where do you think it leads?” Deadpool asked.
I looked deep into the portal, but all I saw was blue mist.
“No idea.” I responded.
Both of us walked over to the portal to get a closer look.
It looked like water. And it was so beautiful.
I reached my hand out to touch it, but then a loud noise came from behind me.
It sounded like a tree fell over.
I spun around and saw a huge robot with a long arm that was holding the broken tree.
“Ok who let colossus out?!” Deadpool yelled.
The robot jerked his head towards Deadpool, then reached to grab him.
Deadpool screamed and tried to run, but the robot wrapped its arm around Deadpool’s waist.
“You’ve got to be shitting me-” Deadpool said, before he was decapitated.
I felt my soul leave my body.
“Deadpool!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs.
I felt my heart break in two.
Literally.
I was having a heart attack. I just witnessed someone getting their head pulled off.
I was so traumatised by the action that I couldn’t move an inch.
The robot was raging towards me ever since I yelled Deadpool’s name.
I just stood there. Breathless.
But something shot towards the robot and caused its arm to fall off, then another blast shot through the robot's head, then it collapsed on the ground.
The blasts came from behind me, but I was too stunned to look.
Then I felt someone wrap their arm around my waist and pull me backwards.
***
I saw the blue mist from the portal, then it all disappeared suddenly and I was in a dark room.
I tried to yell out to Deadpool, but a hand covered my mouth.
And I couldn’t move my arms.
I appeared to be in a small multi-purpose room.
There was a small kitchen in the far left corner, and a gym on the right.
There was a couch to my nearest left and a door to my nearest right.
The only light source was coming from a small square window in between the kitchen and the gym.
I was being held so I couldn’t look behind me, but I could hear three different voices.
“Should I let him speak?”
“Let us ask him some questions.”
“Tell him we are on his side so he doesn’t attack us, ‘kay?”
Then I was turned around to face three figures.
The person who was holding me was a Mandalorian.
“What’s your name?” The mandalorian asked me.
I didn’t answer.
“Well, my name is Din, but everyone calls me Mando.”
I stayed silent.
“These are my mates Multi-Man and Static.” Mando said, gesturing to the people on either side of him.
Multi-Man was wearing all black, with a hood and gloves. But there was black mist where his face should be.
Static had a black face mask on with spikes on the edges. He had a hood as well, but I could see his skin since he was wearing a sleeveless shirt. There were spiked arm guards on his forearms. He was also wearing L.E.D. glasses that generated his eyes. They kind of looked like (^ ^).
The Mandalorian was wearing beskar armour. (Like what all Mandalorians wear)
“Mind telling us your name?” Mando asked me again.
“Oh, um. I’m Kyle.” I said.
They all looked at each other and muttered some things.
Then Static turned to me and asked,
“Do you have superspeed?”
Multi-man pulled Static away and said,
“Do not speak to it.”
Did he just refer to me as an, ‘It’?
I didn’t like Multi-Man so far.
Also what kind of a name is ‘Multi-Man’?
Such a classic hero name ending.
I slowly backed away from them, hoping they wouldn’t notice.
There was a door to my left and it was half open leading into another room.
I slowly walked towards it, thinking that the portal could be in there, or some other way out.
They were still talking and arguing to each other, so I slipped into the other room and saw the front door.
I ran over to the door, hoping that they didn’t hear my footsteps, and opened it.
But opening the door made a loud squeak noise and I heard them stop talking in the other room. I was startled and I ran out the door without closing it. It took a second for my eyes to adjust to the sun since I'd been in a dark house.
I was in a city.
I had no idea which city, but it was very strange looking.
There were no large aircrafts, or any big billboards on the buildings.
And all the buildings were so basic.
They were just rectangles and squares.
But I had no clue where I was, and who everyone was.
There were lots of people around.
And when I say people, I mean people.
Just normal people.
No droids, or people with suits on, or mutants. Nothing.
Just normal, powerless people walking around.
I ran across the street.
Most of the people were staring at me, as if they’ve never seen anyone like me before.
In fact, everyone was staring at me.
I turned around and looked where I'd come from, and there was Mando.
Then I started running faster.
I didn’t know if he was good or bad, and I didn’t care at the moment so I ran as fast as I could, accidentally bumping into some people, but I didn’t stop, and I hoped that they would understand that I didn’t mean to.
The people who did see me coming, dropped whatever they were doing just to look at me. And most of the people hurried to pull their phones out to take a picture.
I felt really awkward, and a bit frightened.
I looked behind me again and saw Mando still chasing me.
And I didn’t know what else to do but keep running.
I’ve never ran so much in my life. In fact, I never ran.
Because I never had to.
I looked down at my feet and saw that they were starting to glow.
It was a sky neon blue colour.
But the sidewalk wasn't wet.
What was this?
But it didn’t take long to find out because I started running twice as fast until everyone started to slow down, and I was the only one moving.
I looked behind me again and didn’t see Mando.
So I stopped running, then everyone started moving normally again.
Some people had weird expressions, and others looked like they were afraid of me.
I looked around for Mando but didn’t see him.
Until I heard something above me. I jolted my head up and saw Mando flying with a jetpack.
He was right above me, and he looked like he was going to land.
I turned around to run, but I was stopped by something.
Something turned me around to face Mando, and I saw that his hand was held out towards me like he was holding an invisible cup.
“You have the force!?” I said aloud.
Mando pulled me closer to him with the force.
“You noticed.” He said.
I couldn’t turn my head, but everyone behind mando was backing away.
“Where am I?!” I yelled at him.
He let go of me, then looked around at the people, as he did, the people surrounding us backed away from Mando's gaze.
“You’re in a different multiverse, this is New York from Earth-1218. We have been searching for you. Come with me for more details.”
Mando held out his hand to me. I stepped closer to him and took his hand.
He pulled me closer and wrapped his arms around me. Then we started flying.
We flew all the way back to the house.
“Don’t you go running off again, okay?”
He set me down, and I looked at him.
“Fine then.” I responded.
He followed me inside, and we went back into the same room that we were in when I got here. Static and Multi-Man were fighting with each other when we entered. Static was on the ground and Multi-man was on top of him, choking him.
“You are behaving like children!” Mando said, as he walked over and separated them.
“Stupid, no-face!” Static yelled at Multi-Man.
“At least I do not need glasses to see the world.” Multi-Man responded.
When Static was facing Multi-Man I saw that his eyes were angry looking.
But his eyes changed to (^ ^) when he looked at me.
“Kyle!” He said, as he ran up to me and hugged me.
“That’s the other Kyle, Static.” Mando said.
Static let go of me and looked up and down at my body.
“Do you really not remember us?” He asked me.
I backed up and looked at everyone.
“He’s from another multiverse, Static. Of course he doesn’t remember us.” Multi-Man said, as he shoved Static aside.
“Remember you? I've never seen you guys in my life.” I said to all of them.
Multi-Man walked up to me.
“The other you, from this realm….Died.”
My heart stopped.
“There were two of me?” I thought.
“How did I die?” I asked him.
They all looked at each other.
“You drowned.” Mando said.
My chest caved in.
“But I can walk on water, right?” I asked.
“You could. But the guy who took your power, buried you in the ocean and drowned you.” Multi-Man said.
My legs went limp, and I almost fell over but caught my balance.
“That was the other Kyle. But we got you with the multiversal time portal.” Static said to me.
“Everything that has happened to the Kyle here, has never happened to you. And everything that has happened to you, we’ve never seen before.” Mando said.
“We all have our own powers. You have Surface Tension, and Super Speed.” Multi-Man said to me.
“Surface Tension?” I asked him.
“Yes, the ability to walk on any liquid.” He responded.
“Even lava!” Static said, loudly.
“Lava?” I repeated.
“Yeah, you're so hot- I mean! The lava was hot. That you walked on.” Static stuttered.
“Ignore him. He and the other you were dating before the other you died.” Multi-Man explained.
“Shut up, black man.” Static said, punching Multi-Man in the arm.
Multi-Man didn't even budge, and Static looked like he hurt his hand. “Dammit you metal multi-powered freak!” Static yelled in anger.
All I could do was look at Static.
“I dated him?” I thought to myself.
My eyes ran along his bare muscular arms.
“Hey.” Mando said, snapping his fingers in front of my face.
“What?” I asked, breaking my gaze from Static.
“We have things to do now that you're here.” He said.
“What things? I have to get home!” I said, loudly.
“You weren't at your home, that’s why it took us longer to find you.” Mando said.
“Yeah, we got stranded on that island I was just on!” I said, raising my voice. “Who’s we?” Mando asked.
“Me and my mates. We got separated from the attack.” I responded.
“Who attacked you?” Static asked.
“Vines, and robots. And now they are stranded there while I’m in this, other multiverse.” I responded.
They all went silent for a moment.
“If I went back and got your mates, would you help us?” Multi-Man asked me.
I thought it through for a minute.
I didn’t know how I would get my mates back without these bloke’s help.
“Yes.”
Multi-Man walked over to a wall, then walked right through it.
“How did he-” I started.
“Intangibility, or phasing. It is the ability to walk through solid objects. One of his many powers, which is the reason for his odd name.” Mando explained to me.
“He might take a minute getting your mates, but we can do stuff in the meantime.” Static said.
Static walked over to the gym section of the house and started lifting barbells. Mando walked into the kitchen part of the room, and grabbed a bowl that had an odd substance in it. Then he walked past me into the other room.
I looked around.
I walked over to Static who was lifting a barbell that had the number 600 on the side of it, with one hand.
“How are you doing that?” I asked.
“I have super strength.” Static responded.
I stared at his muscles as he went from one hand to one finger lifting the weight. Then he set it down carefully on the ground in front of me.
“Try lifting it, Kyle.” He told me.
I looked down at the barbell.
“I can’t lift that.” I thought to myself.
I squatted down and looked at the barbell closer, then I put my hands on it. “Go on.” Static insisted.
I pulled up as hard as I could, but it didn’t budge.
“Huh.” Static said.
“I really thought you could lift it there for a second.”
Then Static walked up behind me and put his hands underneath mine on the bar.
“Lift.” He said, as he lifted it up with me.
We both lifted the barbell together.
I looked at his hands that were wrapped around the bar handle, then followed up his arm with my eyes.
“You’re so muscular.” I said.
Did I say that outloud?
Static didn’t say anything, but I felt him rest his head on my back.
“Let go.” He whispered in my ear.
I let go of the barbell, and it fell to the ground with a loud thud.
It startled me a bit, but static wrapped his big arms around me, and it made me feel safe.
I closed my eyes and felt his strong arms around my body.
He gently swayed me back and forth. Until something landed on the floor behind us.
I opened my eyes and spun around with Static.
There, on the floor, was Deadpool.
Some of his suit was ripped and he was missing a hand.
Deadpool slowly sat up.
Static backed up, probably shocked by Deadpool’s missing hand.
He was still holding onto me though so I backed up with him.
Then Deadpool looked over at me.
“Kyle!” He exclaimed, as he got up and ran towards me.
Static put out his hand and stopped Deadpool mid run.
“Stay back.” He said, as if he was protecting me.
“Nonsense cutie pie. Wow you look like you’ve been working out.” Deadpool said, using his hand,
(that he had)
to touch Static’s arm.
Static backed up and shielded me with his body.
“You put your hands on him I swear-” Static started.
“Hand.” Deadpool corrected him, as he pointed to his missing hand,
“And also that’s my boyfriend you got there.”
I stepped out of Static’s grasp.
“Static, this is Deadpool. Deadpool, Static.” I said.
Static put his arm down.
“You know this freak?” He asked me.
I walked up to Deadpool,
“Are you ok?” I asked him, totally ignoring Static.
“Never better, baby.” He responded.
Deadpool stepped up and hugged me.
I hugged him back.
“Wait, so he’s your-” Static started.
“Yes, meat stick.” Deadpool said, interrupting him.
I’m pretty sure Static got offended because he bumped right through me and Deadpool and interrupted our embrace.
“Meat stick.” Static scoffed.
But he didn’t engage, he just walked into the other room.
Me and Deadpool sat down on a couch that sat in the corner of the room.
“So what happened?” I asked him.
Deadpool looked down at his hand that was normal again, then looked up at me.
“When I reunited my head with my body, I didn’t see you anywhere, and the portal was completely gone. No evidence that it was ever there. The robot was on the ground, and it was missing an arm.”
Deadpool scooted closer to me and rested his head on my shoulder.
“So I walked in the woods searching for you. Until I saw a floating black person. He hovered above me for a second right before landing. Then he walked up to me and said he’d bring me to you. So he picked me up, and then I appeared here.”
Deadpool took his head off my shoulder and looked into my eyes.
He was about to speak again when something hit the ground beside us, and I turned my head to see.
It was Peter.
Then Multi-Man flew through the wall carrying Kelsey bridal style.
And he set her down nicely.
“Why did you throw me!?” Peter yelled, getting up off the ground.
Multi-Man didn’t answer, he just hovered into the next room where his mates were.
“Petey!” Deadpool yelled, as he got up and ran over to Peter to give him a hug. But Deadpool’s hug was too forceful and they both fell over.
Deadpool wrapped around him.
“I missed you so much!” Deadpool said, kissing all over Peter’s face.
Peter was probably grossed out, because something white shot out of his hand and hit Deadpool’s mouth.
Deadpool let go of Peter, then he walked over to me and pointed at the white stuff.
When I got a better look at it, I could see that it was webs.
I tried pulling the webbing off of Deadpool's face but it didn’t budge. Deadpool pointed to my knife.
I took the knife out of its case, then carefully cut the webbing off until there was none left.
“Holy fuck It feels so good to talk.” He said, once his mouth was free.
“I’ll sew it shut next time.” Peter said.
Deadpool turned around and glared at Peter.
“That already happened once, and it won't happen again. Bitch.” He said under his breath.
I saw the door open a crack, so I walked over and opened it.
Mando was polishing a gun in the corner, Static was talking to Multi-Man, and Kelsey was laying on a mattress.
Mando was next to Kelsey, and he looked up at me when I walked in.
The windows by the door were open and the sunlight was pouring in.
This room was way brighter than the previous.
And there were a few selfies on the walls.
I didn’t have any time to notice them before, because I ran through here to escape so fast that I didn’t even look at the walls.
And the blinds were shut at the time.
Mando was still staring at me, mid polish.
I walked over to the selfies that were on the wall.
One of the selfies had Mando hugging some sort of little green creature. Another had Multi-Man and Static both wearing flower necklaces, but Multi-Man was crossing his arms, appearing that he clearly didn’t enjoy it.
The last two selfies had me in them.
Or the other me.
One, was a selfie of me and Static. I was carrying him over an ocean, and he was snapping the picture.
The last one had all of us.
We were on top of a building with another strange city in the background. Multi-Man was taking it, Mando was behind him making a peace sign with his two fingers. And me and Static were in the background hugging and making out.
Static and Multi-Man started punching each other behind me.
Mando turned around.
“Guys, stop it.” He said.
they didn’t listen.
“Ever since the other you died, they never get along. And they never agree with each other.” Mando told me.
One of them slammed into the wall, and Kelsey woke up.
Static stopped and looked over at Kelsey, only to be punched in the face from Multi-Man.
Static spun around then landed on the floor.
Then I heard Deadpool gasp in the other room.
“Shit! My unicorn is still in my tent.”
Then he ran into the room I was in, back into the previous room, jumped onto the couch, and cried.
“Is he always like this?” Mando asked me.
“Yeah.” I responded.
I walked over to Static who was on the ground and helped him up.
“Ah, my head.” He said, almost falling over.
Multi-Man crossed his arms,
“Next time, you will be dead.”
I looked at him.
“Is that any way to treat your mate?” I asked him.
Multi-Man didn’t answer, instead he put his hand out and aimed it at the floor. Then a chair appeared.
“Woah.” I said.
I helped Static over to the chair.
Static sat in it, and rubbed his head.
Multi-Man hovered over to Static and gave him an ice pack that had just appeared in his hand. Then Static put it on his head with one hand.
Multi-Man held a fist to Static and they fist bumped.
"Thanks, ya old softie.” Static said to Multi-Man.
Multi-Man didn’t respond.
He just flew up to me.
“Come with me.” He said.
He went around me and through a wall.
“But I can't do that-” I started.
Then I saw his hand stick out of the wall for me to grab.
I grabbed his hand, then he pulled me through the wall.
“Woah.” I said, looking around.
There was a whole other room hidden behind this wall.
“Is this your room?” I asked him.
“For this multiverse, it is.” HE responded.
On one side of the room, there was a small mattress on the floor, and there were many strange objects, medications, and weird foods on a desk that sat in the corner of the room.
On the other side there was the same portal that I had seen on the island. Around it, there was rubbish and some strange looking equipment.
And next to that was a small box of those battery things.
“Let’s go get your stuff.” Multi-Man said.
I watched him as he took two batteries out of the crate, and put them into the metal cylinders on either side of the portal. Then he grabbed two more and made them disappear in his hand.
The portal lit up, then he walked into it.
I hesitated a moment, but I followed him in.
When I walked through the portal, I was back on the island.
And we were at our camp.
Almost everything was still there.
The only thing missing was the cooked meat, and the rest of the deer. But the horns were still there. And I thought of what Deadpool said about making knife handles together.
Multi-Man walked over to Peter’s tent and picked the whole thing up with one hand. Then he dumped everything out of it and picked up Peter’s backpack.
I walked over to mine and Deadpool’s tent.
Inside, our sleeping mats were still next to each other, along with Deadpool’s bag, and his Unicorn sticking out of the pocket.
I picked up Deadpool’s stuff, then I walked out of the tent.
Multi-Man already had Peter and Kelsey’s stuff.
And I saw my backpack next to the log.
I went to bend down and grab it, but I saw a vine, and dodged it before it swung at me. I darted in the opposite direction, but it grabbed my foot and I dropped everything I was holding.
Multi-Man ran over as soon as he saw.
I saw him put out his hand, then I looked down at the vine and watched it disintegrate into little green pieces.
“Thanks.” I said.
Multi-Man nodded in response.
I went and picked up all the stuff I had dropped, then we walked back to the portal. I was about to approach the portal when I heard a large roar behind me.
I recognised it.
It was the beast. The one that scared me off the cliff.
I slowly turned around and saw it face me.
Multi-Man put his arm around me and pulled me into the portal.
The beast charged for me, and wiped its paw at me, but the portal closed just in time.
And the beast’s paw fell on the floor. As if it was cut in half.
Multi-Man sat up, and set me down.
Then we picked up everything.
He put everything he was holding in one hand and grasped my shoulder as we walked through the wall.
Everyone was in the same spot as when we left.
“Where did you get that stuff?” Static asked.
Kelsey stood up and walked over to Multi-Man.
He handed Kelsey her backpack.
I reached into Deadpool’s bag and pulled out his unicorn.
I threw it on him and he stopped crying.
He reached up and grabbed it off his back.
Then he gasped, and started hugging it.
I set his backpack down, then walked over and sat on the floor, then opened my backpack.
Everything was still there.
I was about to pull something out of my bag, when a dark mist caught my eye.
It was coming out of a crack in the floor.
“Hey Deadpool come look at this-” I said, and looked over at him.
I was about to say something else, when a tingle went up my spine, and I felt different.
I wanted to kill something.
My vision started to blacken.
Then I felt something overcome me, and I passed out.
