Excerpt from "Short Stories"
A fair warning! A little (LOT) dark!!!!
The day started off as a normal day, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and the bees were buzzing.
It was a beautiful day. Everything was perfect, until it wasn't.
All of the sudden, I got a phone call, from a number I didn't know.
"Hello", I say.
"Hi, this is Lola from Saint Luke's South Hospital. Are you Olivia Davis? ", the person on the other end of the line says.
"Yes".
"Okay well, says on this form, you are the first person to be notified Luna Harris's contact list, if something goes wrong, which it has. Ms. Harris, unfortunately got into a tragic car accident, and was killed on sight, we are-".
I end the call, and sink to my knees.I can feel the tears that start to stream down my face.There goes my world. My entire world.
My phone rings again, and its the same number.
"It's Lola again, you hung up before we could inform you, the person who hit her was Jason Reeves.It says here, he is your boyfriend."
Oh my God.
Jason is alive and not injured at all, but Olivia is dead. I wonder how long you go to prison for murder?

"So you don't know what happened?", the officer asks me.
"N-no sir", I tell him, 'tears' on my face.
"Thank you for you're time, and we're sorry for your loss.", he says.
If only he knew.
As you probably saw in my lastest annoucnemt, I am discontinuing the book titled "Short Stories".
