The next morning i woke up and looked around seeing that all the girls in my dorm are already gone. I cursed at myself thinking that i was super late when i heard a knock and shouting on the other side boys couldn't go into the girls side but they could knock hermione wake up we well be late for breakfast and i am starving. I laughed to myself recognizing the voice of my friend and crush ron weasley i got dressed and walked out ok ok i am her where is harry ron he rolled his eyes harry is saving us a set in the great hall now come on he dragged me down the castle and into the great hall it took us a few minutes before we spotted harry from where he was waving at us to help find him. Me and ron walked over and set down i set across harry and ron sit beside him what took you guys so long you almost missed the beginning of breakfast harry asked ron was already stuffing his mouth with food so like always i had to answer sorry harry i over slept a little last night tired me out i lied. When the truth was getting the hand kiss out of my head was harder then i expected it to be i tossed and turned in my bed so many times i lost count when eventually i ended up falling asleep harry looked at me with concern written on his face are you ok hermione it's not like you to sleep in i know you said yesterday tired you out but still it's not like you. Yeah harry i am alright i said and started eating after breakfast we had class and for once's in my life i was not looking forward to class because the first class of the morning was potions i wasn't terrible at it but draco was in that class and even though we where secretly friends now seeing him right now wouldn't be a good thing because i still couldn't get what he did last night out of my head and it was making me confused because at first i thought i liked ron and now i don't know anymore. I walked into class and saw that he wasn't there yet everyone set down ron sit with harry and i sit across from them but my set was empty as snape started speaking about what we would be doing and a little into his explanation draco walked in we locked eyes. Mr malfoy may i asked why you are late to my lesson sorry professor i wasn't sure what room we where in today snape rolled his eyes set down beside ms granger seen's it's the only set left snape barked draco sat beside me luckily for me i was on the isle set snape continued explaining and everyone was taking notes draco leaned over when no one was paying attention hey hermione he whispered close enough to my ear that no one would hear except me hey draco i said back. A few minutes passed then snape said alright everyone this is a group project so you we well be assigned partners but seen's i am feeling generous today i well make it easy snape said staring at me when he said that generous snape right ron said to harry snape looked at him is there something you would like to share with the class mr weasley. Ron gulped no professor snapped turned back to the class today you well be paired up with the person who is sitting next to you my stomach sank that meant that am paired up with draco you know your tasks begin everyone started discussing the projects with there partner and ron and harry gave me a look that said sorry that you have to be paired up with that ferret. I was pissed at snape because i was positive that he did this on purpose to try and torture me because he couldn't do that seen's i was a prefect and i was allowed to be out after hours. But seen's me and draco where secretly friends working with him should not be a problem obviously no one else would know that after class was finished we started making our way to our next one ron spoke up first sorry hermione that you have to deal with him it's fine ron it's only one project we kept walking when i heard someone call out my name. It's draco granger wait up he stopped in front of us and ron and harry stood by me protectively what do you want malfoy harry snapped then ron joined sid of malfoy hermione doesn't want to talk to ferrets like you i looked at both of them guys it's fine what is it malfoy i said trying to act in character not to break our secret friendship he looked at me and could tell what i was doing i wanted to say let's meet at the library to do the project i looked at him ok let's do it on our free period. Then he left grabbe and goyle following behind him ron and harry looked at me we walked to our next class until ron snapped what was that about you being nice to that ferret i looked at him ron we have a project if i want to get a good grade i have to tolerate malfoy then ron understood and left it at that in my head i was so grateful that ron left it at that because he could have blown my cover. After a few classes it was finally a free period harry and ron decided to stay in the common room they know hermione know enough spells to hex malfoy into the next year if he steps a foot out of line but before hermione want to meet up with draco ron asked hermione are you sure you don't want us to come with you hermione rolled her eyes ronald i can defend myself i am not a helpless woman then hermione grabbed her bag and want out the portal hole and made her way to the library. When she finally made it there she didn't see draco at first and thought that he may have been running late so she want to the back of the library but she saw him sitting there with a book opened hey draco she said sitting down across from him seen's barley anyone want to the back she used his first name knowing that no one would hear them he looked at her hey hermione they started discussing the project and figuring out how to write an assessment for it and only going of information professor snape gave them and some books that they could find on the subject. Draco and Hermione where writing until draco cursed damn it my quill broke hermione giggled when draco looked at her instead of being annoyed that she just giggled at him he smiled draco wasn't going to admit it to her but her giggle was cute. Hermione do you have an extra quill i can burrow please hermione was surprised that he said please but she smiled lucky for you i do draco she reached into her bag and grabbed an extra quill out this is my only extra so don't break it she handed him the quill and there hands touch both draco and hermione locked eyes and both felt a spark then they pulled there hands away. Hermione's cheeks going red and draco smirking with a smile hermione know that he felt that too after there free period has ended draco and hermione parted ways but before draco walked off he turned towards her see you later hermione draco winked at her walking off hermione felt her cheeks go red again. She wasn't sure why draco had this affect on her but he did hermione walked back to the common room when she walked in she saw that harry was doing the work and ron was just on the couch watching harry and trying to understand hermione coughed ron i know potions isn't your best subject but you can't let harry do all of it. But he is doing so good hermione ron wined like a child who didn't get the toy he wanted hermione rolled her eyes at him and set beside harry she decided to help harry out seen's ron clearly wasn't going to help the time ran so fast that before hermione know it she had to meet draco in the prefects room and choices what hallways they want to watch over guys i have to go or i well be late ron just smiled and harry spoke up thanks again mione for the help good luck with malfoy she smiled at harry thanks i well need it especially what happened earlier in the library she said the last part in her head. Hermione meet up with draco your late hermione everything ok he asked yeah just ron wouldn't help harry so i had to draco smirked i am not surprised weasley never does anything by himself hermione glared at him hey easy draco just because we are friends doesn't mean you can insult ron even though you are right in a way wait what was she saying draco was bringing a side of hermione she never thought she had draco got closer to hermione with a mischievous smirk just friends he said his breath ghosting over hermione's lips her heart started beating fast she couldn't answer but her eyes told draco everything he needed to know he moved to her ear i well wait for you but i won't wait forever hermione he looked her in the eyes sparks flying between them sparks she tried to ignore but her breath caught in her throat.
