The next day harry was walking to the area the task was taking place one of the teachers last night asked neville to help put the books away because ron got called to mcgonagall and hermione want to see draco and during that he talk to neville and he give him some gillyweeds to help him hold his breath. Bloody hell where is hermione and ron harry said hermione woke up in draco's arms and turned to look at the clock to see how long she well be able to stay in his arms before they had to leave for the task but hermione's eyes want wide when she saw the time. She got out of bed rushing around and waking draco up from the loud noise he set up in bed seeing her rushing around the room love what's wrong he asked he turned to him draco get up we are super late harry is supposed to go on for the next task hermione said draco looked at the clock and also started rushing around. After that they rushed out of the room and stopped at the bridge both panting out of breath we are never going to make it hermione said between breaths draco trying to catch his breath managed to get out take my hand and hold onto me draco said hermione did what he said and held his hand letting him pull her to his chest. Draco pulled out his wand cast a spell and they teleported to the forest area right outside of the wooden deck that you can get a boat to the big area where people well watch the task they saw people still walking draco kissed hermione i well see you after this love draco said yes you well hermione replayed. An hour has passed and every champion started resurfacing with the person they saved except harry it took him awhile and hermione, draco and ron where worried why he wasn't resurfacing but after awhile he did hermione hugged harry ouch hermione that hurts careful he said with bruises from hermione's guess it was from the mer people that lived in that lake. After everything harry was setting near the fire he was still freezing ron can you take care of harry i need to go hermione said ron nodded and hermione left she walked into the room seeing draco asleep on the bed she walked and laid down beside him running a hand through his hair after watching him sleeping for a little hermione lifted his arm and backed up into him laying it over herself and snuggling herself inside of his arm. The next morning draco was the first that was up he opened his eyes and saw the girl that he loved in his arms well this is a nice surprise draco thought to himself he couldn't believe that they want from enemies to friend and then after hermione's heart got broken by that weasel and they started dating. A few minutes passed he looked at the clock seeing it was almost time to get up so she shook her gently baby wake up draco said mmm five more minutes hermione said back he loved how adorable she could be at times i know you want to sleep but we have to get up we need to meet the teachers today is the dance. Hermione woke up slowly fine i am awake but i am not getting up yet hermione said he laughed kissing her forehead alright you can stay in bed for a little longer but then we have to get up hermione was cuddling in his arms as they enjoyed each other's company. Seen's today was the dance draco knew that he couldn't take hermione to it because weasley would find out and seen's this year is crazy as it is that's the last thing they need on there plate right now but draco had a surprise in mind and he needed harry's help love i need to do something draco said do you have to do it out of bed hermione pouted sadly yes draco kissed her and got out of bed walking over to a little writing table that was in the room. Draco set down and started writing the letter for harry hermione set up finally being half awake draco looked over his shoulder and made a cup of coffee fly to her she took it thank you you really know how to take care of me hermione said taking a sip draco smiled no problem and i hope it's the right temperature draco replayed. Hermione had another sip yes it's perfect what are you writing hermione asked sorry but can't tell you just meet me her at 8 draco said after he send the letter to harry he want to set on the bed next to her and took her hand that was free intertwining there fingers together. After she was done drinking her coffee they started to get dressed and leave to meet the teachers for the practicing before the real dance draco and hermione sneak in the teachers did there talk then when the teacher wanted to make an example she picked ron hermione held in a laugh then everyone got paired up with someone in class. Hermione got paired up with harry and draco got paired up with pansy hermione kept throwing jealous glances toward them harry leaned to her ear and whispered hermione if you don't stop throwing jealous glances toward him people while start to notice hermione knew that harry was right so she made herself stop. After the dance class everyone had an hour before they had to get ready for the actual dance hermione want up to her dorm to grab a book to read when she saw a box on her bed it was silver with a green ribbon hermione set down on her bed opening up and seeing something wrapped in black paper with a note she made sure that no one was in the room before reading it the note said to my forever girl i hope you enjoy this gift i know you well look stunning in it love d. That made hermione smile she put the note down and unfolded the paper seeing a beautiful expensive silver dress with a diamond necklace and bracelet hermione put a hand over her mouth draco didn't have to do this she thought she put the clues together know she knew that draco was planning something in the room of requirement the only thing is she didn't know what it was. But she was going to find out soon enough the hour has passed and everyone started getting ready including her after everyone was done and left or at least that's what she thought she made her way downstairs but she saw harry and ron harry was the first to notice wow hermione you look stunning harry said. Then ron turned around his mouth falling open wow hermione where did you get that dress ron asked hermione tried not to roll her eyes i got it from my boyfriend ron i might not be going to the dance but i have a good feeling he has something planned for me hermione replayed harry smiled he does hermione you should probably get going harry said she looked at him how do you know hermione asked looking suspiciously at harry i may have had something to do with it now go he is waiting and me and ron need to go too harry said with that hermione want out throwing the invisibility cloak over herself. There where a lot of people making there way to the hall it was hard to get passed everyone but eventually she made it to the room she said the password the doors opened and she walked in seeing draco in a dark green suit with a silver bow she took the cloak off revealing herself draco made the room look exactly like the yule ball that was happening tonight. Draco walked over to her you look amazing my lady he reached out his hand hermione taking it the music started playing and draco and hermione started slow dancing at first she laid her head on his shoulder as they danced this is way better then the yule ball because we are her together hermione said. Her head lifted up there eyes locked there lips connected in a passionate kiss hermione's hand want into his hair and his hands pulled her closer in by the waist they pulled apart after awhile sparks flying between them they danced and when both of where tired they set at a table are you hungry draco asked but hermione's stomach growling give him the answer he needed. Draco want over to the table with food and drinks and got a drink and some food for hermione and him thank you hermione said kissing draco he smiled and they started eating together and talking and laughing. They danced a little after and when both draco and hermione started to get tired they throw the cloak over themself and walked out of the room turning the room back into a bedroom they walked back into the room and used a spell to change into sleeping clothes. They both got into bed and draco pulled hermione into his arms both of them closing there eyes and slowly drifting into sleep in the gryffindor common room ron was setting on the couch after changing he couldn't fall asleep his thoughts where running around in his head about seeing hermione in that dress before the yule ball he realized that he really screwed up and last an amazing woman and whoever she was dating was one lucky guy.
