Ch 23 - Rades

Alex sighed and patted her head.

"Fuck! Who are you?..." Rades slowly stood up from the ground and rubbed his face, staring at Alex. "A brat from the Black Bulls..."

Looking around Alex, he saw his zombies lying on the ground with no sign of movement.

"Ah, you must be the Anti-magic kid..." Rades's expression turned weird as if he had swallowed a bug, glaring at Alex.

"I didn't do all this shit so a little shit with no magic like you would be the one to oppose me!!"

As he barked those words, he summoned tens of zombies with his magic, attacking Alex.

Alex pushed the girl behind him and slashed his sword.

*Whoosh!*

With a single move, ten of the zombies were dissected into two pieces, instantly losing their mana and lying on the ground like lifeless corpses.

He sighed and said in a slightly mocking tone. "Just this? You sure seem overconfident with only this much to attack the town?"

Rades felt his cheek burning as his words were like a slap to his face. He gritted his teeth in anger and shouted. "I'm going to kill you!"

This time another figure emerged from the ground. It had the appearance of a very tall man with a pair of long arms. It was covered entirely with bandages with its head, chest, and lower arms and legs wrapped with black bandages. It also wore numerous black belts on its chest, upper arms, and feet. Furthermore, it also had a pair of eye-shaped ornaments attached to its face. Multiple weird spheres were revolving around it.

"Jimmy, your target this time is... that little shit!" Pointing at Alex, Rades said smugly, looking very arrogant.

The zombie raised its long arms and all the magical orbs charged at Alex.

Alex sighed and cut them all, finding it extremely boring.

If not for the plot, he might have gone ahead and killed all of them already.

But he needed it to happen since his target was the demon that was sealed along with the elves.

He continued to cut all the magical bullets that were aimed at him with no effort.

"For someone with no mana, he sure is holding his ground. But there is still plenty left of Jimmy." Rades smiled playfully and said. "But before I finish you off... Jimmy, get that little shit that's hiding behind him!"

He was targeting the young girl Alex was protecting.

Jimmy pointed at the girls and released multiple magical bullets.

"What?" The girl was startled by the situation, surprised by the change of events.

But even before those bullets could hit her, Alex flashed in front of her, cutting all of them again.

"How about we keep her out of our game?" Alex said with a smile that wasn't a smile at all.

He was losing his patience slowly.

'If Fugeleon didn't come here quickly, I swear that I will kill this bastard!'

Rades on the other hand didn't understand his meaning, laughing. He thought he had finally found Alex's weakness.

"That's right. I forgot... Magic knights are supposed to protect the citizens. Jimmy, Attack that Kid!!"

The zombie followed its Master's orders and attacked the kid but Alex easily destroyed the magical bullets. A tick mark slowly emerged on his forehead as his veins were twitching.
