Ch 80 - Yuno Vs Magic Captain

Julius narrowed his eyes and observed closely the facial expression of Alex, his face turning gloomy.

"Let's hope such a time will never come!"

He was praying seriously for it since he knew Alex was serious about his words and with his strength, it would be almost an impossible task for anyone to stop him.

It was already very problematic for anyone to fight Alex with his Anti-magic. He wielded his weapon with such finesse and grace that even Julius, the great Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom was not confident to contend against Alex.

And he still had to count the weird and mysterious magic that he possessed in his arsenal that could prove very dangerous in a life-and-death battle.

Julius was confident that whatever he had seen of Alex till now was nothing more than the tip of the iceberg and the latter still hid many aces under his sleeves.

The three of them were chatting in low voices so the King sitting beside Julius was unable to hear what they were talking about.

And finally, the second semi-final started between Team I and Team P.

Alex also took a deep breath and calmed down his nerves, focusing on watching the semi-final match since it would decide the team, he would have to face in the finals.

During the match, Noelle and En were in charge of guarding their magic crystal from the combined attacks of Nils Ragus, a 1st Class Intermediate Magic Knight of the Silver Eagle, and Ruben Chagar, a 1st Class Intermediate Magic Knight of the Crimson Lion.

Noelle had enclosed the magic crystal into her Sea Dragon's nest, protecting it.

Yuno was taking the lead in the offense as he charged at Rill Boismortier who was protecting his team's magic crystal behind him while clashing with Yuno's powerful wind magic spells.

Yuno was using all sorts of wind attacks but nothing passed through Rill as he easily dispelled it with his unique painting magic.

The fight had reached a standstill but it was still nonetheless as all the other magic knights watching it were startled by their skills.

It pissed off Sylph as she pouted cutely and grumbled. "What the heck is his problem~?! No matter how we attack, he just painted a little doodle and sealed it away~!!"

Yuno realized that he would not be able to pierce through Rill Boismortier's defense if kept attacking like that. He thought hard and finally reached a conclusion.

"Bell... Let's do it..."

Slyph blushed as she realized what Yuno was pointing at. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and grabbed her arms.

"To make it possible to contain the power of my spirit...!! Ahh... The feeling of becoming one with Yuno..."

Yuno was covered with a massive amount of mana as winds swirled around him, covering him into a caccon-like structure.

It caught everyone by surprise as they looked intently to what Yuno was doing.

When the cacoon disappeared, Yuno's appearance had changed. His left arm turned green, a green circle of connected crosses appeared around his wrist, a green wing splurted out from the left side of his back, and a green half-crown of connected crosses appeared on the left side of his head.

"Wha...!!"

"What in the world is that magic...?"

All the magic knights present on the platform were dumbfounded feeling the massive amount of mana from Yuno.
