Author's Note
If you guys remember, Alex said in the part "Lead poisoning" that Kara and Monel would bring back Rhea for a checkup to see whether she was still allergic to lead when she was fifteen months old. Thank you all so much for reading.... Enjoy the story! 😁
Kara pov:
We were sitting in the DEO with our Rhea and waiting for Alex to come out with the test results.
She had put a little water with lead dust in it on Rhea's skin and had given her yoghurt with a small amount of lead in it, so that we could really judge if she had her father's allergies. I was looking at a red patch on Rhea's arm and how she had the same cough Michelle had before she died. I didn't want to alarm anyone since all our friends were there, so I spoke the only language I knew no one else would know, Daximite.

I think she has your allergies.
If she does we'll just be super careful about what we keep in our house until she can get the full dosage at sixteen.
I know but what if what happened to Michelle happens to Rhea?
*Just then Rhea herself interrupted us*
"Maaaaaammm" she said really loudly, to the point I got shocked that she could even be that loud, or maybe it was the echos. I don't know, anyways.
"Yes?" I replied now both Monel's and I's attentions firmly placed on Rhea. Then out of nowhere she pulls a funny face at me! "Someone's been learning Dad's tricks!" I say as I tickle her. Just the Alex walks in.
Alex l
So she does infact have lead allergies.
Alex started. I was so worried I just shut down. I didn't cry, I didn't faint, I just sorta sat there as Alex talked. Monel was squeezing my hand and he also picked up Rhea.
But if we keep her away from large lead her whole life, or at least till she's sixteen..... Then she'll be fine.
Wait you said large amounts of lead... Why?
Monel asked curiously.
Well thanks to the fact that she's only half Daximite she doesn't have the allergies as bad as you. We figured that if two different alien species mate, their kids will turn out more like one parent and less like the other. As you can imagine Michelle turned out more like Monel. And without any un-tainted air or dosages she died the same way Monel would've if he didn't have the dosages. But thank God that Rhea turned out more like Kara. Wich means that her allergies to Kryptonite are more serious than her allergies to lead. So with Michelle, her allergies to lead were greater than her allergies to Kryptonite.
I was so happy that all we had to do was keep her away from large amounts of lead and Kryptonite in general and we'd be all good.
Sorry the chapter is short! You guys were pressuring me to give you the answer to whether or not Rhea was allergic to lead on my messages so I needed to write this chapter before the wedding one.
