Chapter 8

After their date both got busy with their work.

Despite Jungkook's busy schedule, the flowers never stopped coming. Taehyung would wake up every morning to find a new bouquet waiting for him, each one more beautiful than the last.

The notes attached to the flowers were, with messages like "Been working on a new song tae..I'm sorry. will make it up on our next date".

Taehyung's heart swelled with love and appreciation for Jungkook's gestures. He knew that Jungkook was busy with his music, but he still made time to show his love and care.

One day, Taehyung decided to surprise Jungkook by making him dinner for the man who has been doing a lot by sending flowers and that lovely date.

Taehyung called Jungkook, and he answered in the first ring. "Hello, Tae!"

"Hey jungkook"

"Yes tae" that man was screaming internally cause taehyung called him for the first time.

"Are you free tonight?. "I was thinking of making dinner for us tonight?"

Jungkook's voice lit up with excitement. "That sounds amazing, Tae! I'd love that. What were you thinking of making?"

Taehyung thought for a moment. "How about you come and see."

Jungkook chuckled on the other line"Okay will come by 8?

"Sure Jeon" taehyung smiles prettily.

" I'll see you soon, Tae. Can't wait to taste your cooking."

Taehyung smiled, feeling happy to be able to do something special for Jungkook. "See you soon, Jungkook."

After showering, Taehyung slipped into a plain oversized t-shirt and a pair of comfortable pants.

Taehyung was busy in the kitchen, expertly chopping vegetables and stirring the pot of kimchi stew. He was lost in his own little world, humming along to the song playing in the background.

Just as he finished, he heard the door knocking.

Taehyung's face lit up with a bright smile as he turned to open the door "Hey, jungkook!"

"Hey tae" jungkook smiled and finally got to see him after a whole goddam week.

"This is for you" jungkook handed him a cute bouquet as he didn't wanted to go empty handed.

"Aww thank you jungkook" tae whispers.

As Jungkook took in Taehyung's appearance, he couldn't help but feel his heart melt. Taehyung looked adorable in his oversized t-shirt and pants, his hair still damp from the shower.

He felt an overwhelming urge to hug Taehyung tightly. He wanted to wrap his arms around him and never let go.

"You look really pretty tonight."

Taehyung blushed, looking down at his outfit. "Thanks, jungkook. I just threw anything on."

Jungkook smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You always look great to me, Tae."

"Ok now come inside dinner is ready" with that both walked inside.

Jungkook's eyes widened as he took in the spread before him. "Tae, this looks amazing!"

Taehyung made Bulgogi, a classic Korean marinated beef dish. He had spent hours perfecting the recipe, using tender slices of ribeye beef, marinated in a sweet and savory sauce made with soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.

Jungkook took one bite and his eyes widened in amazement. "Tae, this is incredible! You're an amazing cook!"

Taehyung blushed, feeling happy and proud. "Thanks, I'm glad you like it."
