Enjoy lovelies ~

Taehyung noticed something had been off with Jungkook for the past few days. Though they still shared their usual routines and moments, there was an undeniable shift in Jungkook's behaviour
He seemed quieter, often caught in his own thoughts, staring into the distance with an unreadable expression and Taehyung couldn't shake the feeling that something was bothering Jungkook.
"Baby," he said softly, placing a hand on Jungkook's thigh. His voice was tender with concern. "What's going on? You've been... distracted lately. Is everything okay?"
Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Taehyung. His eyes, deep and expressive, held something Taehyung couldn't quite place-nervousness? Love?
"Nothing, Tae," Jungkook murmured, his lips curling into a soft, reassuring smile. He reached up and tucked a strand of Taehyung's hair behind his ear. "I'm fine, really."
But Taehyung wasn't convinced. "You don't look fine, Jungkook. I know you too well." He tilted his head, studying Jungkook's face. "You can talk to me, you know that, right?"
Jungkook's smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly replaced it with words Taehyung wasn't expecting. "I love you," he whispered, his gaze holding Taehyung's.
Taehyung blinked, caught off guard by the sudden confession. "I... I love you too, Koo, but-"
"No buts," Jungkook interrupted, leaning forward to kiss Taehyung's forehead.
Taehyung felt a warm flush rise in his cheeks, but the uncertainty still lingered in his heart.
The next day, Taehyung headed to the office, his schedule packed with back-to-back meetings. By mid-afternoon, he realized he might not make it home in time for dinner. Picking up his phone, he dialed Jungkook.
"Koo," Taehyung's voice was apologetic, "I'm sorry, but I'll be late tonight. I've got a lot to finish up."
Jungkook's response came quickly. "It's okay, baby. Don't worry about it. Just... come home safely, okay?"
Taehyung hesitated, sensing something unusual in Jungkook's tone. But before he could question it, Jungkook added, "I love you."
Taehyung smiled despite himself. "I love you too, Koo."
After hanging up, Jungkook took a deep breath, looking around the apartment. This was it. Tonight was the night.
He spent the next few hours decorating their bedroom. String lights adorned the walls, casting a warm, romantic glow.
Rose petals were scattered across the bed, forming a heart shape in the center. He set up candles, their soft flickering adding to the dreamy atmosphere, and placed a bottle of wine and two glasses on the nightstand.
In his pocket, he carried the small velvet box containing the ring he had picked out weeks ago. Jungkook opened it once more, the diamond catching the light as he imagined slipping it onto Taehyung's finger.
"I hope you'll say yes," he whispered to himself, his heart pounding in anticipation.

Taehyung unlocked the door with his spare key, the faint click echoing in the quiet apartment. He stepped inside.
"Koo?" Taehyung called out, his voice warm but curious. No reply came. He glanced around, the dimly lit living room devoid of Jungkook.
Maybe he's asleep, he thought with a small smile, setting his bag down near the couch.
He made his way to their bedroom, his fingers brushing lightly against the walls as he reached for the switch. The moment he flicked it on, the sight before him took his breath away.
