Taehyung's mind raced as he thought about today's date with Mingyu. He knew that if he told Jungkook about it, Jungkook would worry and be really angry.

So, with a heavy heart, Taehyung decided to keep the date a secret from Jungkook. He didn't want to put Jungkook in danger or cause him any more stress.

"I'll just get through this date and then I'll be free," Taehyung thought to himself. "I'll find a way to make it clear to Mingyu that I'm not interested"

Taehyung took a deep breath and tried to push the thoughts out of his mind. He didn't want to think about the date or his parents' schemes. He just wanted to focus on his love for Jungkook and the future they would build together.

Suddenly there was a message notification. Taehyung's heart sank as he read the address his mother sent him. He got out of bed and began to get ready.

He showered, dressed in the outfit his mother had picked out for him, and styled his hair lazily. But his mind was elsewhere, thinking about Jungkook and how much he would rather be spending time with him.

As he finished getting ready, Taehyung's mother texted him again. "Don't be late, Taehyung. Mingyu is expecting you."

Taehyung sighed and grabbed his phone and wallet. He knew he had to play along, at least for now. He took one last look in the mirror, his eyes flashing with defiance. He would get through this date.

With a deep breath, Taehyung headed out the door, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

Taehyung reached the restaurant which his mother sent him. After a few minutes he saw Mingyu standing in front of him, a charming smile on his face. He was dressed impeccably, and his confident demeanor was hard to ignore.

"Hi Mingyu," Taehyung replied, trying to sound friendly despite his reservations

"Hi Mingyu," Taehyung replied, trying to sound friendly despite his reservations.

Mingyu's eyes sparkled as he took in Taehyung's appearance. "You look amazing, Taehyung. I'm so glad we could finally meet like this."

Taehyung forced a smile, feeling a sense of discomfort. "Thanks, Mingyu."

Mingyu gestured to the restaurant behind him. "Shall we go in? I've made a reservation."

Taehyung nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. He knew he had to get through this date, but his heart wasn't in it. He was only here because of his parents' arrangements.

As they walked into the restaurant, Taehyung couldn't help but think of Jungkook, wondering what he was doing right now and wishing he was with him instead.

After a while, Taehyung decided it was time to be honest. "Mingyu, can I talk to you about something?" he asked, his voice hesitant.

Mingyu looked at him curiously. "Of course, Taehyung"
