Chapter 7

Jungkook stood outside Taehyung's doorstep, clutching a bouquet of flowers, his heart racing with anticipation.

This was his daily ritual, hoping that one day Taehyung would see the love in his eyes.

He took a deep breath and knocked on the door. Taehyung answered, looking as stunning as ever.

"Hey, jungkook! What brings you here?"

Jungkook's face lit up with a bright smile. "Flowers"

Taehyung looks more beautiful everyday. Jungkook was proud of himself for giving flowers to him everyday in the morning.

Taehyung's expression softened, and he accepted the flowers graciously. "Aww, thank you jungkook I love them."

"Tae, can I talk to you for a minute?" "jungkook uttered slowly grabbing his soft delicate fingers in his palm.

Taehyung looks at him with a hint of curiosity on his face. "What's up, jungkook?"

Jungkook took a deep breath and went for it. "I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me? Maybe dinner?"

Taehyung's expression changed from curiosity to surprise, and he set the flowers on the table "A date?."

"Please, Tae, please," Jungkook said, trying to sound calm. "We can just see where things go, no pressure."

Taehyung looked at him, his eyes searching. For what, Jungkook didn't know.

Taehyung's face turned a lovely shade of pink as he nodded, "okay".

Jungkook's heart exploded with joy. He couldn't contain his smile as he exclaimed, "Really?! Oh, Tae, thank you!"

Taehyung chuckled, looking down, his blush deepening.

But Jungkook couldn't help it. He felt like he was walking on air. He leaned in, his voice barely above a whisper, "I'll make it the best night of your life, Tae. I promise."

Taehyung's eyes met his, a spark of electricity passing between them. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension palpable.

Then, Jungkook stepped back, grinning from ear to ear. "I'll pick you up at 7 pm tonight. Be ready!"

Taehyung nodded, still looking a bit dazed, but a small smile played on his lips.

"I will get going then" jungkook says but doesn't move.

"Drive safely Jeon i know you are too excited " taehyung teased.

Jungkook chuckled " I will wifey don't worry"

Taehyung widened his eyes but he was fast to walk away "yah Jeon come back you"

Jungkook just laughs and walks away not before seeing his love once again. Their eyes met for a second and a beautiful smile appears on each other's faces.

Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise as he turned to see Jimin standing behind him, his arms crossed and a stern expression on his face.

"Jimin you awake?" Taehyung asked gulping

Jimin raised an eyebrow hiding his teasing smile"I could ask you the same thing, Tae. I didn't know you were going on a date with jungkook."

Taehyung's face grew hot as he realized Jimin had witnessed his exchange with Jungkook. "It's not a big deal, Jimin. Just a friendly dinner."

Jimin's expression changed to a smiling "Friendly dinner? With the way jungkook was looking at you? Please, Tae don't lie"
