The car came to a smooth halt in the driveway of an unfamiliar house—my new prison. The marriage ceremony had ended hours ago, but the weight of it still hung over me, just like the heavy gown I was desperate to escape. Jungkook, my so-called husband, stepped out first, his expression as cold and unreadable as ever. I followed silently, feeling like a shadow as he led me inside.

The house was grand, with an air of foreboding that made my skin crawl. I had no time to take in the details as Jungkook guided me through the corridors and up the stairs to his—no, our room. He didn't say a word, simply walked over to his desk and sat down, immediately engrossed in his work as if I wasn't even there.

The silence was suffocating. I needed to get out of this gown. Slipping into the bathroom, I changed into something more comfortable—something that felt like me, not the girl forced into a marriage she didn't want. I didn't notice when Jungkook finished his work and approached me. It wasn't until his cold voice cut through my thoughts that I realized he was sitting beside me.

"What are you doing?" he asked, his tone sharpStartled, I glanced up, my heart racing. "It's none of your business," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady as I returned to my book.

"It is my business," he said, his voice dropping a note lower. "You're my wife."

The words made me scoff. I looked at him, disbelief clouding my eyes. "It's just a forced marriage and nothing more," I shot back, preparing to get up and leave the room. But I didn't get far. His hand shot out, grabbing my wrist in a vice-like grip, and before I knew it, he had pulled me back onto the bed.

"I don't care if it's forced or not. You're still my WIFE," he said, his voice dark and menacing.

"Let go of me," I demanded, trying to yank my wrist free, but his grip only tightened. A smirk played on his lips as he watched me struggle.

"You're not going anywhere until I say so. Got it?"
