Y/N's POV:
I moved cautiously towards the backdoor, my heart racing as I slowly opened it, trying not to make a sound. I slipped outside and quickly shut the door behind me, holding my breath as I listened for any signs of being caught. When nothing happened, I let out a sigh of relief. I was free, at least for now.
But I couldn't let my guard down; I needed to get far away before Jungkook realized I was gone. Glancing around, I moved quietly past the guards, avoiding every camera and corner as I made my way off the property. I had to get away before he could find me. I whispered to myself, willing my legs to keep moving.
I ran until I reached a different street, far from the mansion's suffocating walls. Exhausted, I sat on a bench, trying to catch my breath. My mind was racing with fear and uncertainty—I had nowhere to go. I couldn't return home; my father would just hand me back to Jungkook without a second thought. He was the reason I was trapped in this nightmare in the first place.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the shadows around me deepened, and a chill settled in the air. I started walking again, roaming the empty streets aimlessly. I found a small park and sat down on a bench, the cold seeping into my bones. The distant barking of dogs made me flinch; every sound felt like a threat.
"Where do I go now?" I whispered, feeling the weight of my situation pressing down on me. The thought of going back to my father's house was terrifying—there was no way he would protect me. He'd only call Jungkook and send me straight back to him. I pulled my knees to my chest, trying to find some comfort in the darkness.
Jungkook's POV:
"You made a big mistake, princess," I growled, the anger bubbling beneath my calm exterior. She thought she could escape me, but she was about to learn just how far my reach extended. There would be consequences, and this time, I wouldn't hold back.
I jumped into my car, determination driving me as I sped through the streets, scanning the sidewalks and alleyways. She wouldn't get far. She was mine, and she needed to understand that there was no escaping me. Not now, not ever.
End of Jungkook's POV:
I sat on the bench, my head buried in my hands, overwhelmed by my predicament. I was lost, cold, and afraid. "Where should I go now?" I mumbled, tears stinging my eyes.
Before I could collect my thoughts, a familiar, chilling voice broke through the silence, freezing me in place.
"You're coming home with me..."
