Gene is with Skye and Julia "I can't believe you and Nick saw each other at the same coffee shop" Skye says "I know but that's not even the crazy part though."
"Wait, there's more?" Julia asks as she nods "Nick and his mom told me that Darby is trying to separate me and Cage" she says since she knows Julia and Skye will keep it a secret.
"Is Darby crazy? That will never happen" Skye says as Julia agrees "I'm planning on telling Cage soon when he appears" the two girls nod "it's better if you do tell him that way you can work things out."
"Yeah" Julia says nodding "did Nick tell you why he told you?" Skye asks "he did" Gene says as she explains to them, the three girls continued to talk.

Nick entered the arena alongside his mom Shayna "do you think she told Christian?" She asks Nick who nods "probably have or if she hasn't she'll probably tell him today."
They then talked for a good few minutes before Nick's attention was on Gene who was still talking to Skye and Julia who now had Kyle Fletcher with them due to him dating Skye.
Julia, the one closest to Gene nudges her as she did she looked over at Nick and smiled as she did her phone buzzed.
We're in our locker room for a chat about tonight - Christian
Gene sighs "I gotta go, Cage needs me" she says as the two females nod and watch her leave, Gene eventually made it to Chris' locker room and knocked on.
"Come in Gene" Cage says already knowing it was the younger Shepard, she opens the door seeing Cage and Lucha in their usual spot, Gene then entered the locker room closing it behind her.
Imogene then walks over to the spare bench and sits on it as she starts to listen to Cage and wondering how she's gonna explain Darby's plan to him perhaps get help from Shayna and Nick? Yeah that'll be good since they know what's happening with Darby.

After costing Darby his match against Dante Martin of Top Flight, the trio went backstage were with help of Nick and his mom, they explained what Darby's plan.
To which Cage specifically told Lucha to be with her at all costs and Gene asked him "isn't that a little too extreme?" While looking at Nick who then replied with "I don't trust Darby anywhere near you" Gene rolls her eyes just as Shayna and Nick walk away.
