Chapter 3: Meet Sharon Shephard

Imogene Shephard enters the local coffee shop with her mother Sharon, the mother-daughter duo stood in line waiting.

As they were waiting Gene got on her Instagram and scrolled down coming across a picture of Harry and his girlfriend which she immediately scrolled down.

Just then Nick and Shayna Wayne entered the exact same coffee where Nick looks around and immediately sees Gene and quite possibly her mom.

Gene puts her phone away and glanced over at the doorway making eye contact with Nick and she smiled to which he smiled back.

Shayna glances at the interaction and smiled softly before they took went in the line "Imogene" she quickly looks at her mom "yes?"

"Can you please get the coffee while I pay?" Gene nods and grabs the coffee, she steps aside and let's her mom pay and once they finished the duo sat on an empty seats with a table.

Gene grabbed her drink and drank some before she glanced around the shop and seeing Nick with his mom Shayna before looking back at her phone.

Sharon left Gene for about ten minutes and in that time Nick walked over "hey Gene" Nick says as Imogene looked up and smiled "hey, how are you?" She asks placing her phone down.

"I'm doing well, you?" He asks as the two friends caught up just as Shayna walked over "oh and another thing, huh Darby wants to separate you from Christian."

"That's going to be pretty hard" Gene says "I know I've tried telling him that but he won't listen" Nick says as Shayna backs him up "thanks for letting me know."

The talking stopped just as Gene's mom walked back and they introduced themselves and the four sat down together which surprised both Nick and Imogene who looked at each other before sitting down
