Time, Izuku found, was a funny thing.Months had passed since that day at the club and the details were losing their weight in his mind.
Sure for a while he had this feeling that something wasn't quite right. That Urarakas explanation didn't quite scratch his mind all too well.
But, like most of his hangovers and blackouts, he didn't dwell on this one too long and soon enough, he had forgotten it for the most part.
"Uraraka! I'm going to work, do you need a ride!?" The teen boy shouted as he opened the girls bedroom door before immediately closing it, being hit with the image of her and Quinton in bed together.
"Um, I'm good! Thanks!" The girl shouted from the other side and it was clear that she was holding back laughter nearly as lightly as she was holding the covers over her chest. "...Have a good day!"
Izuku laughed as he wished her and Quinton a good day as well, saying goodbye before he left the house.
He assumed that Quinton would drive the girl to school as he found the man's car in the drive way.
It wasn't long after he stepped out of the house that his own old car came speeding down the road with its new owner driving it.
Katsuki stopped at the foot of the Uraraka residence driveway, the window rolled down as he looked annoyed at the greenete.
"Get in, we're late." He said, and Izuku smiled, walking around the car and sliding into the passenger seat.
"No we're not, you big baby." The teen said as he shut his door and they drove off.
-
By the time they each got to the shop, they were in fact late.
Izuku smiled half heartedly as he felt Katsukis annoyance like humidity in the air.
The blonde slammed his door shut, walking into his place of work in a way that sort of reminded everyone there that he literally owned the building and paid their salary.
Izuku was content knowing that he got paid by Katsuki whether he did work or not tho and that kind of gave him an air of arrogance at times like this.
Everyone else was on their best behavior that day, trying not to upset Katsuki and do everything they could to do their jobs right.
But Izuku seemed to be living for the excitement of pissing the man off more and that alone took up all the time he was supposed to be using to do his job.
"Hey, where does this go?" The teen asked and the blonde man groaned.
"For the third time, don't worry about the tools, I'll save them- Izuku what the fuck?"
The teen was on clean up duty which just entailed straightening up the shop so that it was presentable to customers.
Katsuki didn't trust him to do anything else and thought there was no way he could fuck this one up.
But he choked on his own beliefs as he turned and saw the boy holding an entire car battery that Katsuki honestly didn't recognize and had no idea where he found it.
"Okay, that's it, new job." The man said and Izuku smiled cluelessly as the man took the battery from his hands, setting it down and then taking the boys shoulders, guiding him to the front of the shop.
He sat the boy down in a chair near the gate and let his amber red eyes look directly into the youngers green ones.
"Just sit here, and when a customer comes, you greet them and then come get us. Alright?" The man asked and Izuku grinned.
