"Your awake."

Izuku's eyes darted from side to side as he kept still and took in his surroundings until his gaze landed on the man sitting next to him.

"I'm awake?" He asked as he tried to sit up but found his body weak making him grimace at the pain of effort.

Katsuki stood up, helping the boy as he pulled him up and adjusted him to lean his back against the head board of the hospital bed.

"You've been in a coma for about three days." The blonde said as he handed the boy water.

Izuku frowned as he looked around and found machines all around him and wires attached to his chest.

He reached up and felt the tube that was down his nose as well as the one in his mouth.

"What's this?" He asked, now aware that he was speaking around the plastic.

"You keep on going in and out of cycles where you can't breath on your own." Katsuki pointed to the tube in his nose and then to the one in his mouth. "And you haven't been able to eat properly."

"My dad." The boy rubbed at his throat as he grimaced. "I heard my dad."

"He just left an hour ago. He's been sleeping here every night but we finally convinced him to go home for a bit." Katsuki said.

Izuku nodded as he looked around before smiling. "Well your a nice face to wake up to in the morning." He told the man who rolled his eyes.

"Ide tell you to stop but I wouldn't want you to throw yourself out of a fucking car again." The man said and Izuku's face fell as flashes of memory came to him.

His skin burning as it peeled violently against the gravel.

His arm twisting and the shoulder jabbing into his collar bone.

His neck cracking as his body tumbled down the road.

"Why did I do that?" He asked in a whisper as his fingers trembled, making their way to his neck to reassure himself that it wasn't snapped.

"I don't know." Katsuki answered the boy. "But it scared the shit out of me."

"Aw, were you worried?" The boy's confused and scared face was quickly replaced with a grin as he looked up at the blonde.

"Izuku you almost died." The man said sternly and the teen pouted, rolling his eyes.

"I'm fine aren't I? Why you gotta be so serious?" He asked and Katsuki groaned before sighing.

"Izuku, we shouldn't be around each other." He said and the boy froze. "It's clearly not healthy for you and it would be irresponsible of me to let this continue."

"Katsuki-!"

"Enough, Izuku." The man shook his head. "Your fired from the shop. I don't want to see you there or anywhere near me ever again."

"I feel like this could have been a text." The boy said flatly as he recovered from his moment of panic.

"Yeah well unlike you, our phone didn't survive the fall." Katsuki shrugged, clasping his hands in his lap.

"So?" Izuku asked as he rolled his eyes. "Is that all? Why are you still here?" He asked and Katsuki narrowed his gaze.

"Izuku I'm not kidding. You need to agree to stay away from me." The man said and the boy laughed.

"Oh woah, you sound so serious. And so fuckin full of yourself, if you really think it's gonna be that hard for me to stay away from you." The teen grinned as he pulled his hair back, somehow managing to make two tubes down his throat not affect his appearance at all.

"So you will?" Katsuki asked, skeptically as the boy had thrown himself from a moving vehicle the last time he tried to put distance between them.

"Katsuki from the looks of it, your still here, so who is actually struggling with this little restraining order? Hm?" Izuku pouted mockingly and Katsuki finally got pissed out, standing from his seat with enough aggression to cause the chair to fall backwards.

He grabbed the boys jawline in his hand, his amber red eyes piercing Izuku's.

"There he is." The boy smiled up at the man. "There's the guy who can't keep his hands to himself around me."

"What's your problem?" The man asked as he bruised the boys face with his grip.

"Katsuki, my love." Izuku teased. "All I did was agree to your request. It kinda seems like you have the problem."

He was right.

Katsuki was being unreasonable. Setting demands and yet not acting on them. Actually he was crossing the boundaries that he himself had set only moments ago.

"Fuck you. I fuckin hate your mind games." The blonde clenched his teeth as he glared at the boy.

"I literally haven't done anything." Izuku laughed and Katsuki groaned, letting go of his face.

He turned around and picked the chair back up, grabbing his things so he could go.

As he grabbed his jacket and phone however, he heard noises behind him and when he turned around he found Izuku pulling the tubes from his throat.

"Hey!" He shouted as he ran across the room to stop him.

Flashes of Izuku almost flat lining as his chest stopped moving, came to mind.

By the time he got to the boy, both tubes were already out and all he could do was support him as the teen coughed and gagged, his body trembling.

"What the fuck?" Katsuki asked quietly as he pulled Izuku's curls away from his face. "Why would you do that?"

"Why do you care?" The teen groaned as rubbed his sore throat, faintly feeling the thin scar across his Adams apple. "Aren't you supposed to be leaving?"

"That was before you removed the one thing that's kept you alive for the past 72 hours." Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"I'm fine." Izuku said, agitated. "See?" He asked as he took a deep breath by himself.

"Your such a pain." Katsuki groaned.

"Yeah well you're not exactly an ideal company either." Izuku smiled sarcastically. "Probably why I jumped out of a car to get away from you." He said and Katsuki grinned before they both broke into a bit of laughter, Izuku's green gaze looking up at the man.

"I have to go." Katsuki said as his hand soothed Izuku's back.

"Then go." The teen smiled up at the man who stood still.

Katsuki didn't even look at the foot as he leaned in and Izuku closed his eyes.
