"He said live a long life? Doesn't mean much when you die young yourself... First time?" I watch the two of them interact while looking at the concrete I'm sitting on. I feel my eyes burning, "So what's this? You look more bummed than usual Megumi." We look up and I see a woman there with green hair in a pony tail wearing purple glasses. "Having a wake?" "What's up Zenin." "Stop calling me by my last name-" "Maki! Maki!" I look and see a panda and a young boy hiding behind one of the statues. They explain that this is basically a wake and how one of us died yesterday. I feel tears stream once again, "Why didn't you tell me! Now I look like some sort of stone hearted ice demon!!" "Yeah that's how you came off-" I start chuckling at the three new characters that entered my life. "Zenin, is the best at welding cursed tools. Inumaki is a cursed speech user, he can only speak in ingredients of rice balls and that's panda." I chuckle some more at Panda's introduction and immediately go and admire the three. I grab Panda's arms and look at him intensely, "A sister exchange event with Kyoto? Like smash bros? I rock at the will version." I nod as well, "I'm also great at smash bros!" "No-" They then explain how the event will be mock battles against other sorcerers and everything goes but killing. "That's terrifying!"
I get a look from Panda and I decide that I can be dramatic with this guy, "You'll protect me right Panda?" He nods and does flexing, "No. We're going to train you all so you don't fail miserably." We all agreed to join. Though, I did hang out with Panda a bit more after we agreed where to meet and when training will begin. "So, what do you need me for shortcake?" I look up embarrassed but explain, "Would you want some cloths that would fit you? Like jackets and stuff?" He thinks about it, "I don't need it but it would be appreciated." I smile and immediately go to my room to work. The less I think about what happened it can't affect me- "Marinette." I look up and see my friend. "Tikki."
"You need to face the fact that Yuji Itadori is dead."
"But-"
"Distracting yourself with commission's isn't gonna slide now. You saw your friend die right in font of you. No cure could've changed the outcome-"
"But why?!"
"Because to put it simply Marinette. You aren't strong enough."
I feel my world start to spin at Tikki's words. Not strong enough? What does she mean? "You are getting stronger everyday you are here, but the worlds are just to different. Sure the cure fixed the buildings... but I think death is permanent in this world. This isn't like Siren-" "That's not fair Tikki!" I feel tears start running down my cheeks once more, and I try to make them stop. "I know Marinette. It isn't fair." I cried for what felt like hours, Tikki trying her best to calm me down along with the other kwamii's that exited the box. "Marinette, can I come in?" I let out a groan and the person takes that as a yes. It was sensei. "Marinette! Why are you locked up in your room? You should come out and train- What are those-" He points at the Kwamii's.
"Tiny gods that make up the entirety of my universe." He makes a sound of understanding I think. Tikki cuts in, "I've been trying to convince her to get out and about! See Marinette people are worrying-!" Sensei cuts her off, "How about this instead. What will make you feel better?" I look at him confused, "Will punching the shit out of curses help? Do you need to make a grave? or write a letter?" I think about that genuinely for a second. "I've always wanted to fix up or even remake Yuji's yellow sweater since it got destroyed on the roof top of our old school." Sensei smiles at me, "Then do that. Just make sure that you go outside and take breaks with your fellow students. Don't wanna worry them too much." I smile at him and nod understanding what he meant. "Also Marinette-" I look up at Gojo-Sensei, you can let these guys float around campus if you want. I'll send out a notice to everyone about it."
"That would be great, Gojo-Sensei."
I feel myself relax for the first time in a few days, I open my miracle box and they all start flying out and about. I smile at all of them having a great time and let out a sigh. Then I get started on remaking Yuji's hoodie.

I walked out of Marinette's room satisfied that I was able to help her. "Thank you!" I look at the source of the voice only to be face to face with the red and black little god from earlier. "No need. I was just helping a student out. Part of my job-" "But, you were able to get her out of her own head and you had actual good advice... How?" We start talking about healthy habits on how to mourn the losses of battles and teammates (Hell even friends). "I'm just so glad that this place has shaped Marinette for the better..." I nod and keep walking till I arrive at Yuji's spot, long since said goodbye to the tiny good. "Oi! Yuji!"He looks up at me before getting punched right in the face. "Still working on your focus huh?" He nods and starts telling me about the rough beginning and how it was calm up until now. "Good, good. Now let's teach you how to use your cursed energy."

I look at the design for the hoodie on my desk but something feels like it is missing. I got it! "Tikki spots on!" I transform quickly and make my akuma repellents and retransform back into myself. "What are you doing Marinette?" "Making sure nothing can ruin it this time-now I need fabric."
