Chapter 7

Waking up in another world was not on Adrien's bucket list of things he wanted to experience. Man, that akuma really messed him and Ladybug up. He doesn't remember when the akuma hit him but he didn't have it as bad as his lady. Ladybug was thrown around for ten minutes before he was able to arrive on scene. When he did arrive, Ladybug was bleeding badly which he has never seen from his lady. During the fight together, they were blindsided with the akuma suddenly appearing in the sky and hitting them through a portal. During his first few days he figured out that he wasn't in his world. He didn't know where to even start with finding a place to hide or even how to get food. All he had on him before the fight was his phone and his wallet with a few bucks in it. Though he also found out real quick that he had an apartment in this world, he looked at his ID and found a new address on it.

He quickly ran to his home only to realize he was alone. He scoured the whole place looking for information but it was all blank and empty. It felt like he was right back in that mansion, trapped. He started freaking out when a knock at the door interrupted him, he obviously answered. He didn't think he was a famous model in this world, I mean, no one asked him for pictures or anything. He opens the door, he is face to face with an old man, "Ah, I was wondering who was living here now. You're quite young." He just nods and the older gentlemen continues to talk, He isn't speaking French but Japanese. Now Adrien can speak Japanese but he wasn't proficient yet so how can he understand him perfectly? It confused him a lot.

Now weeks passed and Adrien was doing just fine on his own. He found a job at a gas station, and even was able to take online school. For some reason he had documents in this world, things that he didn't originally have in his possession. He also wasn't ready for how quickly he was able to adapt in this new world, but ever since he became familiar he has found it so freeing. So liberating. He also had lots of time to think of his home and his friends, he also learned that not everything his friends did was okay. He would be at work and observe people who were like his friends being criticized on how they acted and how creepy they were being. One girl admitted that she was at a concert and tried to kiss this guy and tried to claim it as a prank when he asked about it. The girl she was with started lecturing her about how weird that was and that hopefully the guy thought it actually was a prank or she might not see him again. (This was extremely familiar and he didn't know why...yet)

Adrien did lots of thinking (when he wasn't hitting these ugly creature things with a broom around work) about his friends and how weird Marinette was around him. I mean she was aggressive with him when they first met but now she stumbles over her words and runs away. All this time he thought Marinette was shy but she never had that problem with other people. He finally came the conclusion that should've been clear from the start, Marinette Dupain-Cheng has a crush on him. She's had a crush on him since the day he gave her the umbrella and here he thought they were just really good friends and that he finally found someone who wanted to be his friend without ulterior motives. It hurt. It hurt a lot. Then he started remembering how everyone always seemed to be pushing them together, and how she was always there wherever he was. At the cinema when the Ladybug and Chat Noir movie came out, Shang Hi, the park, the list continues.

He threw up, he got so sick that he had to stay home for a few days just to understand that everyone around him was trying to get him and Marinette together without considering his feelings. He then went searching for online forums and he found one, Reddit. He started typing his personal experiences on there hoping to get some help and understanding about his situation, he didn't want to air out his issues but he needed answers. He saw how others got advice and things from this website so leaving his problems in the mercy of strangers seemed like an upgrade. (I mean it's not like he has any friends here, and if he was at home and found this out not like any of his friends would be honest considering they already didn't consider his feelings.) Many people confirmed his suspicions and even let him know of things he didn't realize were problems.

One, Marinette definitely had a crush on him and not a small one. People on line gave help forums and support groups for stalking victims, and told me to ditch her or confront her. If that failed then to go to the proper authorities and get help. Then he typed about his friends and many thought he was making stuff up but he still pleaded and he did get help. Nino was a good friend yes, but he didn't have his interest at heart. If he didn't warn Marinette to stop he was just as bad was the consensus of the forums. That was the result for many of his problems, that if his friends weren't caring about him and his feelings then were they really friends?

He needed a few days to digest the information that he finally had an answer to, and he wanted to make himself held at the standard of what he did to Ladybug as Chat Noir was also shitty. I mean throwing away Plagg because he thought Ladybug didn't need him was horrible to Plagg and her. Also sacrificing himself must've done some serious damage to her. Then there was the dates and the temper tantrum. Gosh it's all so embarrassing to think about.

That's how Adrien spent most of his days in the arrival of this new world. Until he saw a bigger than normal creature harassing a woman, it was trying to eat her. He jumped in without thinking twice and transformed into Chat Noir. There was another man there, he was buff and seemed he could handle it on his own but Adrien wasn't thinking and cataclysmed the creature. It was defeated just like that and died immediately. "Thank you cat man!" The woman who was being harmed ran away fast. The buff man pulls him towards him, "What's your name?" Adrien was petrified and his fight or flight kicked in and sadly he was a fighter. They fought for hours, (He didn't even realize that his suit never came off) now Adrien might not be Ladybug but he was smart. He was able to hold the tank until the he asks, "What's your type?"

"Huh?"

"In woman."

"I've never really thought about it... but someone who is strong and quick on her feet?" and that was enough for the brute. "We'll fix that. My name is Aio Todo, I am a jujutsu sorcerer just like you!" "A what?" He then explained and questioned how I didn't know what it was when I was so clearly one. Then I notice that my suit was still stuck to my skin hours after it was supposed to revert me back to Adrien so I call Plagg back. The brute jumps a little and tries to exorcise Plagg which I don't allow. I explain how I am from a different world and he seems to accept it. He kidnaps me and takes me to his school and trust that I was kicking and clawing the entire way there.

He dumps me at the principals feet.

It was a very awkward encounter especially since I had no idea what to even say, but I was accepted as I was not deemed dangerous and it would be wasteful to execute me. Yippee. I think?

And that is how I am now at Tokyo with Mai Zenin and Aio Todo, facing Marinette Dupain-Cheng. When I face her, I decided that I want to hear her side before we go our separate ways. I don't know why, I swore that the next time I saw her it would be immediate cut ties but she just had a look of horror and quilt wash over her face. Then I quickly realized that only Ladybug and I would have the probability to end up in the same universe so that would mean... Marinette was Ladybug... shit. Well I guess I also have to apologize. "BESTO FRIENDO! MARINETTE!" She gets nervous and when everyone starts going their separate ways I say to Marinette, "We need to talk."
