Nobody pov:

Maki and Nobara made it to the park. It was coverd with an ugly looking glob monster. Maki informed Nobara that it is unkown what this monster does but to defeat him you have to fight from the inside. Meaning they had to get swallowed by it which was very dangerous but the only way.

The monster wasted no time to gobbed them up. They both slid down its slimy throat. Eventualy they both landing on ground. They were in the pit of the monster stomach. They were surounded with millions of mirrors around them. Maki and Nobara looked back at eachother until a mirror apeard and separated them.

"Nobara keep your eyes out for stuff!" Maki shouted.

Nobara looked around until she noticed something in the distance in a mirror. She walked over to the mirror stepping on random squishy and goey stuff. Once she was close enough she notice a young boy and girl playing on the street. She looked closer. She was left in shock.

It was her and her brother when they were young. She watched as the children played with a soccer ball kicking it right along the road side. Soon she noticed the young her kick the ball to the middle of the street.

"Ill go get it sis!" The young boy said.

"no... no..." Nobara said softly watching the boy run out onto the road. The boy just placed his hands on the ball when he was hit by a car. The car didnt stop but kept going. The boy rolled over the car and splatted onto the ground.

"NO!" Nobara screamned.

"Nobara im not sure what type of curse this is but it is displaying just a bad memory! Ignore it and break the mirrors! break all the mirros and you can kill this curse!" Nobara heard Maki yell at her.

Nobara felt tears go down her eyes but she smashed the mirror. The same scene was happening on every mirror. She smashed more mirrors until she noticed one displaying a close up of her dead brothers body. Road rash along his skin, Blood going down from his head, Cut up arms and legs, and eyes rolled bacl into eye sockets. Nobara just fell to her knees.

"M-MAKI I CANT" Nobara manged to say over her tears. The memories of that day from Nobara's childhood flew into her mind. The scenerio kept repeating in her head over and over again.

"Nobara your stronger than you know. I beleive in you. you can do it! Smash the mirrors! I only have 2 left!" Maki yelled.

Nobara stood up and continued to break the mirros. but soon she felt a hand on her back. She tunred around and saw her baby brother with road rash, cuts, and blood all over him.

"you did this to me..... your the reason im dead......" The boy said in a grim voice. Tears sobbed from Nobaras eyes. She fell to her knees. She could bairly breath. She put one hand on her neck and the other on her chest.

"You killed me...... you kicked the ball..... your a killer...... your a MONSTER!" Those words destroyed Nobara.

While that was happening, Maki was trying to destroy the mirror that seperated the two girls. it took a couple of punches and kicked before she broke through it. glass shatterd everywhere. she then saw Nobara on her knees. She quickly broke the rest of the mirrors on Nobaras side. The whole stomach they were in just kinda like melted. it melted away and in minutes was gone. They were back at the park. Nobara hasnt moved an inch. Maki ran over to her.

"Nobara are you okay!" Maki said before standing Nobara up with a arm around her shoulder. Nobara was quiet with tears running down her face. Maki just knew that she need to go home.

Maki pov:

I decided that it would be much faster if I were to just carry her so I picked Nobara up. I picked her up bridal style and she looked at my quite flustered. She wasn’t crying anymore but still didn’t seem well. Whatever she saw wasn’t good.

For me, the mirrors were just showing stuff about my family. They were calling me weak and a failure but I have excepted that so I was fine.

As I started slightly running I felt Nobara put one hand on my arm and her head in my chest. Her eyes then drifted closed. God she looked so peaceful when sleeping. Her beautiful chest but hair, her big eyes, everything about her made me want to smile when I see her.

I knew Nobara wasn’t injured so I just brought her to her room. I put her in her bed and brought the blanket over top of her. 

As I was about to leave her side I felt a warm hand on my arm. I turned around and made eye contact with Nobara.

“Maki….stay…. Please. Just until I fall asleep” she asked me with little energy. I nodded and brought a chair up to her bed. She shut her eyes. I was just staring at her for about 5 minutes until I decided to go.

It was only 4 in the afternoon so I decided to go train with the others. As I walked outside Meguni signaled me to come over. I walked over and noticed Yuji was their as well.

“How’d the mission turn out?” Megumi asked in his cold tone.

“ it went okay. This was very odd curse. But we defeated it so it’s all good” I said.

“Where’s Nobara” yuji then asked.

“ she’s not really feeling that good. The cute kinda effected her but I’ll ask her later. She’s sleeping right now so don’t disturb her” I said before walking away. I decided to practice some of my techniques for a bit.

Nobara pov:

I woke up and I was hot and sweaty. I had a nightmare of the car accident. I was panting heavily. I thought I had moved on. I looked at the time and it was 11:00pm. I was still so tired but I didn’t want to have another dream.

I got an idea but I was scared to do it. I got up and walked over to makis room. I knocked on the door three times.

“ come in” I heard Maki groan. I slowly opened the door and saw in her phone sitting in her bed. Her glasses were off and her hair was down. I had never been in makis room before. It was so neat and tidy. Maki turned over and looked at me. She squinted her eyes. 

“ Nobara is that you? I can’t really tell without my glasses.” She said.

“ y-yeah” I stuttered.

“What do you need” she asked calmly.

“ I uh. I had a bad dream. And I’m scared” I said softly as I looked at maki. To my surprise maki patted her hand on her bad and moved over so their was room for me. I smiled and she eventually smiled as well. She never smiled but when she did it was beautiful. 

I then walked over to the bed and played down beside maki.

“Do you wanna talk about it?” She asked.

I nodded. I then began to prepare myself to talk.

“So when we were in that curse. The memory it was playing for me was my brothers death. We were playing by the street with a ball and I accidentally kicked it into the road. He ran out into the road and….. he was hit by a car. It killed him almost instantly. The memory played over and over again until it became real. My brother was right in front of me. He called me a….. monster” at this point I was tearing up. Maki didn’t say anything she just hugged me. My face turned red. I had never seen her hug anyone before.

“ is this ok?” She asked as I rolled over. I nodded my head. 

Soon in her grasps, I fell asleep.
