Maki POV:

I sat down in my bed and everything hurt like hell but Nobara was trying her best to make sure I was comfterable.

"Nobara you can go now. Im fine" I said tiredly.

"Im not leaving you side" She said firmly. I sighed and moved over so their was room for her to sleep. She hopped into my bed and this time, she held me. She ran her hands through my new short hair as I leaned my head against her chest. I was asleep in seconds as she caressed my hair.

I woke up to feel something that felt like I was burning. I shot up. My right arm felt like it was on fire.

"augh fucking shit!" I said under my breath as I clenched onto my arm. after about a minute the pain was gone. I was releifed. My body her to move. I felt like I couldnt control my body properly. I tried standing up but I had to leane against the wall. I then see the singular crutch I was given to help me move around. It was across the room from me. I slowly pushed off the wall and walked to the crutch. I made a few solid steps before my legs gave out. My legs felt so weak as I fell to the ground. My reaction time wasnt working and I fell on my face breaking my glasses.

"mother fucker!" I yelled out. My leg hurt so bad. and I could barely see since my one eye was gone and my glasses were broken. I placed my hands on the ground and tried to push myself up. I had failed. I rolled onto my back.

"NOBARA" I yelled out hoping she would come. I heart someone run down the hallway. the door to my room then flew open.

"what happend?" She said running to me.

"My legs wernt fucking working. pass me my crutch would you?" I asked. She quickly helped me up and passed me my crutch.

"Let me help you" Nobara said before wrapping my one arm around her neck. I could only walk small steps. it took way lonegr than it should have to get to the kitchen. Everyone was their. great.

"Woah Maki your hair. Can I touch it" Panda saind smiling. before I could answer he ran his hand through my hair.

"Get your hands off me before I punch you" I said but I guess panda thougth it was a joke. I put up my fist and punched him. my pucnh hit him at like the pace of a snail.

"Maki I thought you were gonna punch me" Panda laughed. Panda then got punched in the jaw. He even fell back into the wall. Nobara had punched him for me.

"Nobody can touch Maki except for me" She said firmly. Nobara help me sit down at the table and made us some coffee. I looked at my hands. they were all scared up and shaking.
Nobara placedthe cup of coffee infront of me. I took a look at it before slowly picking it up. I couldnt control my shaking hands.

"Do you need any help" Megumi offerd.

"Im fine. I can still do things by myself!" I was pissed off. Since the incident I have been weak and pathetic. I continued to bring to coffee to my mouth. My hands still shaking but I managed. My joints felt so sore. I was in the middle of taking a sip until someone bumped into me. I dropped the cup of coffee on my lap. It was burning hot and on top of my burnt skin felt like I was in hell.

"Oh shit my bad" Yuji said giving his innocent smile. That was my last straw. I got up with my crutch, picked up my empty mug and threw it against the wall making it shatter. I then walked to the bathrooms as fast as my crippled legs could go.

Once I made it their I was out of breath and dropped my crutch. I leaned againts the sink. I looked up at myself. Only one eye, burnt body, several scars, and short hair. I could barely reconize myself. I felt my breathing turn short and quick. My heart felt like it was going to pump out of my chest. I collapsed to the ground. I sat up and leaned my back against the wall. Tears came down my face.

"fuck..." I mumbled. I hated crying. it showed weakness and vulnrability. I tucked my knees up to my chest. I just sat and cried.
