Nobara POV:

I ran as fast as I could to the hospital room. Yuji and Megumi followed me. I reached the door and bolted in. Gojo was standing in the corner. I then noticed someone in the hospital bed. I couldnt make out their face but they had really short green hair. I looked at Gojo with confusion.

"Look under the covers" Gojo said. I walked to the body and lifted the sheet off the body. My heart fell into my stomach. My legs felt like jello.

"m-maki?" I cried. Her right eye had a bandage on it. her whole right side was dark and had burn marks. Her body was full of cuts and wounds. She had a nasty scar that sliced across her left eye. I fell to the ground and held her hand to my chest. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked and it was Megumi. I cried even more.

"what happend" Megumi asked gojo.

"She was ambushed.... by mai. My was set out to kill Maki" Gojo stated. It was impossible to cry even harder. It stayed like this for another few minutes.

BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEP

I heard the heart rate machine beep like crazy. I stood up quickly.

"What is that! is Maki okay!" I cried. Nurses ran into the room. Yuji pulled my arm.

"We need to go" Yuji said. I was nearly out of the room when I kicked Yuji and ran back in.

"Nobara stop!" Gojo shouted. He then picked me up and brought me out of the room. He closed the door and let me go. I couldnt even stand up. I fell to the ground sobbing.

"Nobara the best way you can help Maki is by letting the nurses do their job" Megumi said softly. He helped me up and we went to the waiting room. I sat in a ball on the chair. Gojo had left.  I leaned against Megumi and Yuji held my hand. I wasnt crying anymore. I didnt feel anything. I felt numb. I felt tired. I felt useless.

"Makis strong. She will pull through. I know it." Megumi comferted me. We sat their for hours. Yuji eventualy left to get us food. He brought us all sandwiches.

"Nobara you need to eat or atleast sleep." Yuji said. I was quiet. Yuji sighed and sat back down. Him and Megumi started to eat their food. I continued to sit in a ball for another few hours. Megumi and Yuji fell asleep. I was still awake. I wated for even more hours. I needed to know Maki was okay.

It was the next day. Yuji and Megumi finally woke up. I had dark eyebags under my eyes. I hadnt moved and inch.

"Nobara go to sleep. you look like shit" Megumi bluntly said. I couldnt bring myself to talk. another hour went by and a nurse finally came out.

"Your friend had an unkown internal bleeding but she is now stable. One person may visit." The nurse said. I was up in a second. I made my way back to the room. I pulled a chair up near the side of the bed and sat down. I leaned over and held her hand.

" Maki please. I know you can do this" I said looking at her new hair. Tears streamned down my face. I sat their for a few more hours. My eyes didnt leave her. I prayed she would be okay.

After a bit more waiting I felt somthing squeeze my hand. I then looked at Maki. Her one eye was bairly open and she was smiling. Without thinking I hugged Maki. I held her so hard. Tears fell from my eyes.

"....Nobara.... cant.... breath" Maki said. I let go of my hug.

"Im so sorry" I blurted out. I cried harder.

"Im so happy your okay" I said. Maki smiled and put her hand on my cheek. She then tucked my hair behind my ear.

"You look tired. you should sleep a bit" Maki insisted. I shook my head.

"Come here beside me. you can sleep here" Maki said pulling me onto the bed with her. She put her arm over me. I was so happy she was okay.

Third person:

"Wakey wakey love birds" Yuji said with a smile across his face. Nobara shoved his face away.

"Im happy you finally slept. Maki, Nobara didnt sleep for two days until now" Yuji said. Maki looked down on Nobara.
She smiled and kissed Nobara. A nurse then walked in.

"Well im happy that you are doing better Maki. You will be dishargched today. I will need to say a few things first. First: you need someone with you at all times. second: try to relax. third: try not to strain your body. Oh and one more thing. I will just list all of the injurys that you currently have. first of all, you sufferd third degree burns on the right side of your body. Your right eye is gone. once it fully heals, you need to wear an eyepatch covering the area. you have a scar across your left eye. you have several cuts and bruised along your body and you lost about 1 litre of blood. that is all!" The nurse smiled and walked away. Nobara got off the bed.

"Lets go Maki" Nobara said as she helped Maki off the bed.
