Percy's POV
You know something that I hate? Nightmares. You know something else I hate? Annoying noises. So you can imagine how irritating it was to be having a horrible nightmare about the wars and then wake up to a steady beeping. Yep, definitely a fun experience. The beeping was really getting on my nerves so I opened my eyes and was about to destroy whatever was making the noise when I realized something. I'm in a hospital. That's new. A door opened and in came the doctor. He started asking me a lot of questions so I just zoned out, responding with the the occasional 'ok'. My ADHD started to drift of and begin to wonder what I was doing here in the first place. I remember coming home to check on my mom. I hadn't seen her for a long time... I remember walking into my apartment and seeing police everywhere. Then I remember what they told me. My mom is dead.
