Percy's POV
As I lead the Greeks into battle, I thought about what would happen if we lost. The world would be doomed. Everyone would die. I would do everything in my power to make sure that doesn't happen. With that thought in mind, I decapitated the first monster I came upon with ease.

I froze when I heard the screams. I turned just in time to see Frank and Hazel's bodies fall to the ground together. I sprinted over and killed the Cyclops that had speared them with no mercy. More screams from all around. Demigod bodies littered the ground, which had turned red from the blood. This was all the god's fault. They were the ones who subjected us to this torture. Screams from behind. Piper and Jason. The monsters just kept coming. It would take a miracle to save us now. Then it happened. The scream that broke my heart.
