Pepper's POV
There was something off about Percy. The whole car ride he seemed edgy, and when we got back to the tower, he jumped out of the car and looked around as if searching for danger. It seems pretty odd that an 17 year old boy would have instincts like those. And then when we started to go to the elevator, Percy paled and quickly took off towards the stairs. Then, as if remembering something, he turned around and asked what floor he was going to. Tony told him, and then he took off towards the stairs again. I shrugged and followed Tony into the elevator. The kid probably just had a fear of elevators or something.
We pushed the button with the 'A' on it and began to ascend the tower. Once we got to the top, we went to the door that leads to the stairs and waited for Percy to appear. After what only seemed like seconds, Percy burst through the door, not even out of breath. We just stared at him in surprise. How did he get up that many stairs so fast? He didn't seem to notice however and began to walk around the main Avengers floor.
