I narrowed my eyes to the dartboard, throwing a bullseye on the first try.
"Man, she's just fucking annoying. Honestly." I laughed, turning to Luke.
"She wouldn't be annoying if you weren't rude to her. Ever thought of that?" He shrugged one shoulder, hitting the pool cue against the ball.
"I tried being nice, but she didn't like it," I muttered, drinking the last of my beer.
"What's your weird obsession with her anyway? We've been talking about this for the past hour."
I'm not obsessed with her.
Well—slightly.
I can't figure out how to get my goal to an endpoint. She was making it so goddamn frustrating.
I need to get the cowboy out of the way.
"What do you know about... Noah Baxter?" I questioned, carelessly throwing another dart. I gave off no reaction when it landed right beside the first one.
"Quarterback? Isn't he a crackhead?" Luke laughed, moving to his next ball.
Excuse me?
"He's a what?!" My eyes went wide.
"Don't know. Saw him snorting shit, assumed he was a crackhead."
What the fuck?
"Hold on, Blizzy is dating a coke addict?" This could be good.
For me at least.
"I never said he was an addict. I said I saw him snorting coke, there's a difference." Luke smiled, finally getting the 8ball in.
"I don't see one." My lips pursed, thinking about all of the shit I could do without him around. It would make things easier.
A whole lot easier.
"Why don't you just leave her be? Is it your lifelong mission to fuck her or something?"
Yes, actually.
"You're missing the part where I'm playing her." I snorted.
"Is this your villain origin story?"
Perhaps.
I shrugged in response.
"I've never seen Blair with any guys, what if she hasn't done any of that? You'll feel bad then won't you?"
