BLAIR KAULITZ

"They did what?"

"Yeah, baby, i'm here at the hospital right now. They refused to give the doctors their names for three hours." Tom sighed heavily into the line.

"Well, are they okay? What's happening?" I sprung out of my chair, grabbing my purse as I made a sprint for the door.

"Mrs. Kaulitz, where are you—"

"Family emergency, cover my class for me will you?" I pressed the phone to my ear, jesus, my kids are going to be the death of me.

"I cannot believe the pair on you three!"

"Mom, it's not that big of a deal!"

They took the car out, not to mention without a license. While we were at work.

And of course, it's now totaled.

"Blair, they were just being teenagers—"

The glare I sent my husband immediately shut him up.

"Mom, we're fine, see?" Roman waved a finger between him and his two brothers.

"We cooked you three up in a lab for this." I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Thanks for the visual, mother." Nicholas scoffed and let out a shudder.

"It wasn't my idea, is all i'm going to say." Atlas held his hands up in warning, fifteen years ago I gave birth to these three.

And then they stole the car and took it out for a drive, proceeded to crash it into a pole because they don't have their permits yet—we're working on it.

Now here I am, pushing forty and retired from my soccer career.

Tom is a soccer coach for UCLA and I teach english there—never had thought that would be where i'd be at today. But life definitely throws you curveballs.

Case in point is sitting right in front of me.

Pregnant with triplets in my early twenties wasn't what i'd expected after trying for two years, but they're everything to me.

Even if they're incredibly stupid at times.

"I told you to call Bill, he would have kept it under wraps for us." Roman rolled his eyes, are they serious?
