The alarm woke me up, I'd gotten used to waking up early. These past few days. I stared at my phone as I dismissed the alarm. I'd saved her number on my phone on our last study date. So I decided to tease her a bit.

I drove over to her house and saw her waiting angrily. She stepped into the car and threw a weak punch.
“ Ow, ” I said sarcastically, “ That hurt so much ”
“ When did you get that picture? ”
“ While you fell asleep on our study date, talking about the respiratory system ”
“ Oh my gosh, ” she muttered in mortification and I chuckled as her face reddened.
“ Okay, paper- ”
“ Paige! ”
“ Do you want to sit with us today ”
“ W-will.. Will Britney be there? ”
“ Yeah ”
“ I think I'll sit this one out ”
“ 'Kay ” I wouldn't push her to do something that she didn't want to do, but she should know that there's always a space for her at our table.
“ A-are you mad? ”
“ 'Course not. But you're welcome anytime ”
“ ... Why would you ever want to date Britney? She's not a very nice person ”
“ ... Dunno Daph, wants are stupid, ” I said and parked my car. Then I got down and opened the door for her.
