Days turned into weeks, and Nirvaan couldn't shake off the feeling that Nitya had left on him. He found himself thinking about her at the most unexpected times - while working on a project, during a meeting, or even while scrolling through his social media feeds.
One evening, as he was walking out of a coffee shop, Nirvaan's eyes scanned the crowded street. That's when he saw her - Nitya, standing across the road, her brown eyes fixed on something in the distance.
Nirvaan's heart skipped a beat. He felt a rush of excitement, mixed with a dash of nervousness. He hadn't expected to run into her again, especially not so soon.
Without thinking, Nirvaan crossed the road, weaving through the traffic. As he approached Nitya, he noticed that she was lost in thought, her gaze fixed on a small bookstore.
"Hey," Nirvaan said, trying to sound casual. "Fancy running into you again."
Nitya turned, her eyes locking onto his. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the sounds of the city fading into the background.
"Nirvaan," she said, her voice soft. "What a coincidence."
Nirvaan smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "I know, right? I was just getting a coffee, and I saw you standing here."Nitya's gaze drifted back to the bookstore. "I was just browsing through the titles. I love getting lost in bookstores."
"Me too," Nirvaan said, his eyes lighting up. "I've spent hours getting lost in bookstores. What kind of books do you like?"
As they talked, Nirvaan realized that they had stumbled upon a shared passion. They spent the next hour browsing through the shelves, discussing books, authors, and genres.
The sun began to set, casting a warm orange glow over the city. Nirvaan glanced at his watch, surprised by how quickly time had flown by.
"I'm so sorry, Nitya," he said, feeling a pang of guilt. "I didn't mean to take up so much of your time."
Nitya smiled, her eyes sparkling. "It's been lovely, Nirvaan. I've really enjoyed our conversation."
As they parted ways, Nirvaan felt a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, he had a chance to get to know Nitya better. And as he walked away, he couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them.
-------------------------------------------------------
Nirvaan couldn't shake off the feeling that he had to get in touch with Nitya again. He had enjoyed their chance encounter at the bookstore, and he was determined to see her again. But, he knew that getting her phone number wouldn't be easy.
As he sat in his room, thinking about his next move, Nirvaan's eyes landed on Mrs. Wattson's phone number on his contact list. He had a plan, and it involved a bit of playful manipulation.
The next day, Nirvaan paid a visit to Mrs. Wattson's house, armed with a batch of freshly baked cookies and a charming smile.
"Mrs. Wattson, I hope I'm not disturbing you," Nirvaan said, as he walked into her living room. "I brought some cookies I baked myself. I thought you might like them."
Mrs. Wattson's face lit up, and she patted the couch beside her. "Nirvaan, dear, you're always welcome. And cookies? You know the way to my heart."
As they chatted and munched on the cookies, Nirvaan began to weave his web of manipulation. He started by asking Mrs. Wattson about her latest book club meeting, and then seamlessly transitioned to talking about Nitya.
"I've been thinking about Nitya a lot, Mrs. Wattson," Nirvaan said, his eyes wide with innocence. "She's such an interesting person, and I feel like I barely got to know her. Do you think... maybe... you could help me get in touch with her?" ( Nirvaan figures crossed)
Mrs. Wattson's expression turned cautious, and Nirvaan knew he had to tread carefully. "Oh, Nirvaan, I'm not sure that's a good idea. Nitya's a private person, and I don't want to overstep any boundaries."
Nirvaan's face fell, and he let out a dramatic sigh. "I understand, Mrs. Wattson. I just thought it would be nice to continue our conversation. Maybe I could help her with something, or vice versa."
( Author be like : ohh Acha help karni hai aapko nitya ki hmmmm 😂)
Mrs. Wattson's eyes softened, and Nirvaan sensed an opening. "You know, Nirvaan, I think Nitya could use some company. She's been going through a tough time lately, and it would be nice if someone could... distract her, for a bit."
Nirvaan's heart skipped a beat. He had her right where he wanted her. "Oh, Mrs. Wattson, I'd be happy to help. I promise I'll be gentle and respectful. Just... just give me her number, and I'll take care of the rest."
Mrs. Wattson hesitated for a moment, and then nodded. "Alright, Nirvaan. But promise me you'll be kind to her, and don't push her too hard."
Nirvaan's face broke into a triumphant smile as Mrs. Wattson handed him a piece of paper with Nitya's phone number scribbled on it. He felt a rush of excitement, mixed with a dash of guilt. He knew he had manipulated Mrs. Wattson, but he couldn't help himself. He had to see Nitya again, no matter what.
As he left Mrs. Wattson's house, Nirvaan couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He had played the situation perfectly, and now he had Nitya's phone number in his possession. The game was on, and Nirvaan was ready to make his next move.
Excited are we for the next chapter
