17 - Coffee

JAE'S POV

He is not ghosting me, right?
Should I call again? Damn! I would look pathetic. He literally hanged up on me 4 times.

"What is stressing you out?", Woo-Jin asked.

"Noh In-Woo", I said.

"Huh?", he asked in confusion.

OH HOLY SHIT! HE DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT US YET AND HE REALLY SHOULDN'T! HE WOULD MAKE FUN OF ME.

"I found him", I said.

"Where was he? It's been almost a month", he responded.

"Someone ran over him", I told.

"Oh God. Is he okay now?", he asked with concern.

"Much better!"

But what the doctor told me- I don't want to think about it again.

"Why is he stressing you out though?", he raised his eyebrow.

I coughed slightly, "He hanged up on me."

A small laugh left out his mouth.

"What's so funny?", I made a straight face.

"You!! The president!!! was hanged up by a junior", he tried to control his laugh.

"Stop laughing or I will break your teeth", I warned.

"Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahaha", he continued.

I picked up the pillow and threw at his face,"I said stop Woo-Jin!!"

"Okay, okay, okay", he said in defense.

"Sleep!!", I turned off the lamp.

I stood against my car's bonnet, waiting for In-Woo. It was so sunny, I had to wear sunglasses.

Our classes begin at 9 A.M. so I thought I would pick him up in the morning. But he hasn't shown up yet. Did he leave already? I would wait for just 5 more minutes.

It was almost 15 minutes and I was all set to leave when I heard a familiar voice.

"Jae?"

I turned around to find So-hee.
She came closer and wrapped me in her arms.

"How are you? We didn't contact at all in the past few weeks", she said.

"I was busy with stuff", I said.

"Oh. But what are you doing here?", she asked."How did you know I was here?"

"Actually a friend of mine lives here. Even your friend lives here doesn't she?"

"Yes. I was here to see her. Surprisingly I met you", she smiled.

I nodded.

She pulled me by my shirt and said,"We haven't done it in a while."

"Ah-That", I didn't know how to explain.

In-Woo walks towards us.

Why is this getting awkward for me? Why do I feel as if I cheated.

I distanced myself from So-hee.

"You're here", I said.

So-hee looks at In-Woo,"Oh you're his friend."

In-Woo doesn't reply.

"We have class. I will be leaving", I tried to erase the tension in air.

So-hee waved at me giving a side-eye to In-Woo.
