I walked into the house and dad had a belt in his hand. I looked down. I was five minutes late and that was five minutes too long. Tears filled my eyes.
"Daddy... I'm sorry I'm late..." I cried. He held the belt in the position to strike.
"Dear, stop it. You did that yesterday. and the week before. She deserves something... more..." My mother said, walking into the room. I burst into sobs as she pulled me into the kitchen.
"P-Please! No!" I sobbed. She had the stove on and was pulling me towards it. She pushed me towards it and I almost touched a burner. The heat in intence.
"You were a bad girl. You omust be punished. " She said. She took my arm and pressed it against the burner. It scorched my arm and I screamed at the top of my lungs in pain. I pulled away quickly and fell to the ground. Tears streamed down my face and hit the floor. I couldnt move my arm and all I could feel was the burning running through my veins.
I stummbled to my feet adn ran into the living room. Dad was holding one of the sabors that we kept over the mantel. He came over and stabbed me in the side. The tears stopped suddenly as I stared at him in shock.
Five minutes... I was five minutes late and all this was happening...
He pulled the sabor out and I turned and ran.
I didn't know where I was going. All I knew was, I needed to get away from them.
"Riku!" I shouted as tears ran down my face.
"Sh... I'm here..." Riku whispered. I looked down at my arm that had been burned just a few years ago.
"I was five minutes late... My father was going to beat me with a belt, but mother pulled me into the kitchen and burned my arm on the stove... Then dad stabbed me with a sabor..." I whispered. Riku's eyes grew in shock.
"y-you weren't burned when I-"
"You found me the second time he stabbed me..." I whispered.
"Why didn't you tell someone?! I'm sure anyone would've helped you! You could've-"
"They said they would kill me is I told anyone. That's pry why my dad came here." I cried. He layed next to me and stroked my cheek.
"I won't let them hurt you again. I promise." He whispered.
