He was bedridden for a few hours after the incident in the hollows. Y/n was starting to recover as his body was healing itself. He was on the couch inside the back of a video store, just waking up as he sees an episode of Starlight Knights playing.

???: Oh good, you're awake...

Y/n turns his head and finds a blue haired girl holding a pair of glasses in her hand and sets one on the table.

Y/n: Thanks, Belle...

Belle: *Smiled* No problem, Y/n...

She sits down next to Y/n and the start to converse. They spoke about how they've been doing and what happened during their few months away. From Belle's face, she missed Y/n and the Cunning Hares, their antics and working together as she leans her head on his shoulder.

Y/n: Belle?

Belle: It's nice, you know...

Y/n: About?

Belle: Catching up, talking... sharing a cup of cocoa together... It's been awhile since we've seen each other...

Y/n: Yeah, it has... Nicole has been making us do commissions for a high reward even if one of us gets hurt...

Belle: Still... I missed you...

Y/n smiled and pats her head gently as they enjoyed each other's company for a little while.

From the doorway where an aura was heavy and jealous, Nicole stood biting her thumb angrily as she watched the interaction unfold. She was turning red while the two continued to talk and watch tv for a bit.

Then an idea pops in her mind as she smirks mischievously.

Belle eventually had to go, her and her brother named Wise had to grab some food for their home as she gets up from the couch and left.

Nicole hid behind the doorway as she watched Belle pass before entering back inside.

Nicole checks the contact and groans, a client Y/n could assume judging by the unfamiliar name on it. She picks it up.

Nicole: Yes? ...Can we talk about this later? I'm kinda busy right now... What do you mean it's urgent? ...Transporting useless goods from the hollows isn't that important...

Nicole groaned before getting off of Y/n's lap.

Nicole: I'll be back,.. Client is very persistent on getting his goods back into this realm...

Nicole smiled and blew him a kiss before walking out of the video store. All Y/n did was let out a breath.

Y/n: Nicole was very very flirty... and probably in heat in the heat of the moment... She was never this physical when her flirting comes to play...

Y/n glanced around the sofa and inside the back of the video store, he finds a workshop where his remaining scythe laid. He remembers the other one being lodged into that ethereal so he has to work with one for now.

He heard an AI exclaim as he turns to find Billy.

Y/n: I need to get this fixed... It's my only weapon until we find the other one stuck that ethereal we lost to...

Billy: Oh, right... You had two...  Okay! We'll go fix your scythe and then we can eat!

Y/n: Sounds like a plan...

Y/n smiled as he pats Billy's back and head out of the store to get his weapon fixed.
