"Now, dear Terrance, tell us where he is.." Mei demanded, looking around the cafeteria for anyone that's close to matching Malcolm's vibe—which was kind of hard.
Everyone in this school is afraid of Malcolm, or wants to fight him for status.
Terrance sighed, "I'm really gonna regret this, aren't I?" He said as he scanned the cafeteria.
He laid eyes on a familiar male with long hair that almost reached to the cafeteria floors. Their eyes were soft and somewhat dead at the same time as they talked to a familiar blue haired male that sat beside them—Christen.
"That's him in the back, the one sitting beside Christen." Terrance said without pointing.
"Christen, huh?" Mei chuckled, "I didn't expect Malcolm to like a drama kid."
Mason nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I didn't see that coming at all."
Mei looked for Christen's frame, anxious to find out this weakness that Malcolm suddenly gained, "Maybe they're one of those emo bad boys who—"
Mei stopped her sentence when she laid eyes on the person that was accompanying Christen. It was a beautiful male with long hair that nearly reached the cafeteria floors, having a stoic expression as they talked along with the blue haired boy. They were simply stunning.
"Mei, what's wrong? Found 'em yet?"
Mei grabbed Mason's collar—causing the taller male to flinch in surprise—before bringing him down to her height. She then moved his face towards the new kid's general direction, and he immediately landed eyes on them. They both stared at him in silence, even some of the students in the cafeteria started looking at the group with questionable looks; however, Mei and Mason could care less.
Mason looked at Mei.
Mei looked at Mason.
And then they both looked back at Terrance.
"There's no way that's him." They both said at the same time.
Terrance stayed silent as he looked at the both of them with a look that said 'I'm serious.'
"Oh my god, he's actually serious." Mei said in awe and utter shock. She let go of Mason's face, "Wha—but, looks wise, it's like night and day!"
"I've been friends with Malcolm for a while, and I never knew that this was his type. Shit, I didn't even know this was his preference! No wonder he pushes away all those girls. Damn," Mason said as he looked back at the new kid.
"And you say that the new kid and Mal were—"
"Close friends, yeah!" Terrance said, cutting off Mei. He sighed, "But the new kid doesn't remember Malcolm after being separated from him for so long."
"Ooooh, So that's why he's so pissy today!"
Mei looked up a Mason again with a sly smirk, "You thinking what I'm thinking?"
Mason looked back with the same expression, "Totally."
They both began to walk off to the table where both Christen and the new kid sat, but they were stopped by Terrance. The shorter male had grabbed the both of their hands, and he was pulling them back.
"There's no fucking way I'm letting the both of you do this..." The shorter boy said.
"What—why not?!" Mei whisper-yelled.
"Because I literally just said that he has little to no memory of Malcolm, and yet you both want to go question him about the person he forgot!"
"No, that's not what we were finna do!" Mason countered, "We were gonna introduce ourselves, and then...we ask questions about Malcolm."
