"Y/N? Come on, open the door. Please?" Minnie spoke as she knocked on the bedroom door.

You watched as she tried to turn the knob to let herself in but the door was locked and she couldn't get in.

The fight you shared echoed through your mind and you remember coming upstairs and slamming the door behind you because you were overwhelmed and needed a little room to breathe.

As bad as the fight was, hearing Minnie plead on the other side of the door broke your heart and you were tempted to let her in.

But as you got up and headed to the door, you heard the door across the hall slam shut and you knew that she'd stormed inside from frustration.

You sank your teeth into your lip and debated on whether or not to go across the hall to talk to her and work this fight out because you hate fighting with her more than anything.

But you worried she was too upset and it might make things worse so you just unlocked the door and turned off the light before going back to the bed.

This time though, you crawled under the covers and closed your eyes.

The bed felt cold without Minnie by your side.

It brought back memories of what it was like when she was away on tour; her scent lingered on the pillows and the sheets were cold, leaving you yearning for her arms wrapped tightly around you to keep you safe and warm.

As you lay there, you couldn't help but wonder how on earth the fight had spiraled so out of control.

It had been so stupid too.

You were angry with her for getting home later than she promised she would be.

Normally, you'd be very understanding about that because you know that sometimes that's out of her hands and things come up last minute that she just can't control.

But today, you had made dinner and it had gone cold by the time she walked through the door.

You had hoped for the night to end with romance and maybe a little intimacy but one thing led to another and before you knew it, the fight had blown up.

Words were said that neither of you meant.

Nothing too serious, of course.

Because despite being in the heat of the moment, you both know that some things can't be taken back once said and neither of you would ever cross that line; you love each other far too much.

But that didn't mean that you and Minnie didn't let a few things slip out that shouldn't have been said such as how you just can't take her not being around sometimes and her saying that you should know better because you're dating an idol and you should be used to the chaos by now.

She even muttered that this relationship might not work out after all if you keep whining and complaining so much.

And through your tears, you stormed up to the bedroom, leading to this moment now.

The time is after ten now and you don't usually go to sleep at this hour but you were drained mentally and emotionally and your body seemed to be craving sleep to escape from your anxiety.

But closing your eyes didn't mean you fell asleep easily.

You tossed and turned for a few minutes before you grabbed Minnie's pillow and put it under your head to try and bring yourself a little comfort.

And just as you were about to drift off to sleep, you heard the bedroom door opening.

You didn't open your eyes though, you just pretended to be sleeping.

"Y/N? Y/N, are you awake?" Minnie whispered.

But you didn't reply.

So she tiptoed over to the bed and curled up under the covers with you.

"You're sleeping with my pillow..." She quietly said before smiling to herself. "Are you sure you're not awake? Because I need to talk to you."

You didn't say anything but you did shift around a little, almost as if wordlessly telling her that you were listening.

"I feel awful about everything. I wish I could take back what I said. I know it hurt you and that's the last thing I ever want to do. Even though we've been together for a while, I know that it's hard to ever get used to dating an idol, and putting up with everything that comes with it is never easy. I feel so lucky that you're so supportive of me. You're so understanding and I love you."

You turned over to face her and took her hand into yours.

"I love you too. Minnie, you're not the only one who feels bad about what took place down there. I was just frustrated because I miss you and I wanted to surprise you with a nice dinner and maybe come upstairs and cuddle... or more."

She chuckled at your confession.

"I said some things I shouldn't have and I'm so sorry."

"I'm sorry too." She said before scooting closer to you. "You're my everything and I don't know what I'd ever do without you."

"Don't worry, my love. I'm not going anywhere. You can't get rid of me even if you wanted to."

"I never want to." She smiled and put her forehead on yours.

"You're my everything too. I hope you know that. I'm sorry about everything."

"I'm sorry too. Let's put it behind us, okay? Forget about it all." She said as you put your head on her chest. "Hey, look at me, baby,"

You looked at her as you held onto her tight and when her brown eyes met yours, you got lost in them and leaned in to kiss her.

The second her lips met yours, you felt your anxiety fade away.

"You know, we can still do everything you planned earlier," She said.

"I don't think the food is any good now."

She shook her head with a laugh.

"We'll order food... in a while." She smirked before kissing you again. "There are other things I want to do first, darling. If you're okay with that."

"More than okay." You said as you pulled her closer. "I love you, baby,"

"I love you too, sweet girl," She spoke against your lips before pulling you even closer, promising to never fight with you again.
