The flag of Deltora waves then slowly fades to the map of Deltora where the seven gems shine in seven areas a flash shows the Belt of Deltora empty moves around before it spins to a stop and fades to a book called 'The Belt of Deltora' it opens for pages to move and stops to a photo of a person standing.

Flashes to reveal Lief landing before running forward, twirling around is Jasmine with a smile, slowly standing arms cross is Barda looking up, Y/n slowly turns holding a book he smiles, Jasmine looks to the right her arm out for Kree to stand on it on her shoulder is Filli, Lief looks forward, Barda looking to the right and Y/n looks to the sky with a brown dragon name Zorea on his shoulder.

Lief, Y/n, Barda and Jasmine jump over a cliff into the water splashes, slowly turning is the Shadow Lord whose eyes glow red before firing a massive fiery beam on the ground killing the army of Deltora, the Shadow Lords eyes turn red narrowing, Lief swings his sword at two Grey Guards before clashing against a 3rd Grey Guard then stabs him.

Jasmine uses her dagger to slash a Grey Guard swinging around she blows a kiss as Barda holding his sword he swings at a Grey Guard, Y/n clash against a Grey Guard before Zorea turns into his book opening a page for a creature to come out attacking the Grey Guards, Lief lands before raising his sword to slash.

A Golden Knight pulls his sword raising a hand, a giant Fish roars swimming forward, a giant Serpent hisses forward, a Golden Face rises up, a giant Frog raise its head, a giant slug lunges forward, an old man with his right hand forward sends four creatures running forward, a flying creature raise its head opening its mouth for fire to come out.

A house is seen sleeping against the wall is a baggar who is sleeping and inside is a blacksmith name Jarred using a hammer to hit some hot metal with tools inside boxes as the baggar yawns closing his mouth while Jarred turns he said "Hey, Lief" The fire is burning "Where are you" Jarred didn't get a respond before standing up he groans walking grabbing a cane "Lief"

Jarred walks out of the room then a Voice ask "What is it, my love" Jarred looks to see his wife Anna holding a basket of clothes "Lief has already gone to town to the market" Staring at her Jarred said "The market" Leaning up Anna ask "Don't you remember" She smiles "Today is his 16th birthday".

Meanwhile in town the Palace of Del is seen in the distance but a gate with chains connected to a block of wood is in front of bunch of apple trees suddenly an iron heater is pressed against the wood for a moment before pulling away to reveal a hand mark with an eye in the middle standing is a Grey Guard who said "Listen carefully all of you".

He stares at the townspeople "As of today these fruit trees have been deemed the property of the Shadow Lord" The townspeople stare at them "No one is permitted to trespass beyond these gates" The townspeople murmuring to one another but a little girl walks over and stops the Grey Guard grunts the Girl said "Please, sir" The Girl takes another step "Can I have an apple"?

The townspeople look shocked and the Grey Guard ask "What was that" Running over to the girl is her Mother who said "No dear" She grabs her shoulders pulling her close "You mustn't" The Mother looks at the Grey Guard "Please forgive her she's just a child" Moving her arm the Girl ask "Why can't I have an apple"?

The Grey Guard glares at her "That bad man stole all our—" Suddenly a 2nd Grey Guard aim his spear at them making the Mother gasp pulling the girl to her the Grey Guard said "Everything with a brand on it belongs exclusively to the Shadow Lord" They stare at them "All who ignore this will be severely punished" The 2nd Grey Guard takes another step.
