Chapter Two: W

She was behind the desk, working on paperwork as her boss walked around her office his tux jacket was off and was on her couch as he walked around the room with paperwork of his own in his hand as the other hand on his hip. He paces around the room as he tries to figure out the work with his assistant. "With sales going up 7 percent more in the past 2 months, we need to figure out what made it go up that fast" he said as he looks at the stocks and all to figure out.

She chuckle and said "well that's easy- it's the latest insurance company we partnered with- what the name?" She asked as she moved the paper on top to the side as she said searching for the name, as she gets it she looks up at the boss saying "the Harrison car insurance" she said to him as she put the paper down and looks at the other papers in her hands.

Her boss nods his head and said "oh yeah- Jacob Harrison- that four eyes, all brain no muscles" he said making Alice chuckles as he used one hand and loosen his tie around his neck as he sat down in her couch in the office as Alice said "well, that four eyes. All brain no muscles knows how to work people- he has 58 sales alone in the last month and he has only had his company going for the past 10 months" she said as she kicked one of her legs over the other and threw the papers in her hand on her desk as she said "but- 37 of them came from our company so there's another part in the raised stats"

She said to her boss as she turned to him, seeing him rest on the couch with his lose tie, his elbow on his knee as one hand held the papers he was reading with his others hand in his chin as he nodded his head and said "yeah- that's true, what about that one partnership- with those two brothers who were trying to make a shopping company or something" he said not even hiding the fact he didn't remember their names or business.

Making her chuckle as she said "Alejandro and Diego López, they were starting the worldwide shopping company-" she said as she flipped the page and her face changed into one of a shock with a smile saying "but hey have had a jump of 57% in their stocks and sales- that would explain the big jump in our sales." She said as she checks the next few pages for important information as the boss said "yeah, if it keeps heading that way then we will have a bigger jump in sales soon, good intuition on that choice" he said with a chuckle and a smile as he flipped his pages in his hands looking up at her as he said it.

Alice chuckled and looked at him saying "well- I know success when I see it" she said with a chuckle as it was right, her boss was hesitant to partner with the company as they weren't having good sales and stocks but Alice convinced him and told him to give it a shot and he did. Now that was a good choice.

He leaned back against the couch and said "that's for damn sure" he said with a chuckle and a nod of his head, Alice was deep into the paperwork she almost didn't notice her phones ringing in her purse, when she seen it the name read Amber Williams, Alice chuckled and smiled as she seen the name, her boss seemed to notice as he said "new boyfriend?" He asked as he was looking up from the paper in his hands as Alice looked at him and said "you wish- no it's my best friend, I should probably take this call" she said as she grabbed her purse and stood up and started to walk to the door with a ringing phone in her hand.

He chuckled as he said "yeah well- tell your best friend your at work- your got 10 minutes and then come back" he said as he turned away to the paperwork in his hands. Alice chucked and nodded her head as he had to sound like a bossy boss but he wouldn't care if she came back 30 minutes later because she was such a good worker.

She went into the bathroom but by the time she reached there she didn't pick up the call and it ran fully through, but Amber doesn't play around and proceeded to call again, when Alice hit the bathroom she went into the bigger stall and answered the phone "don't be ma-" she went to say but knew she was about to get a earful.
