One day, I was in my room, minding my own business, when the leaders suddenly entered with some shocking news.
{The Leaders}: "Sorry for disturbing you, Master, but we need to report something..."
They spoke politely.
{Me}: "What is it?"
{The Leaders}: "White Spirit #2148 and White Spirit #2153 haven't attended training for over a week now, and we were wondering if they were on a mission or something..."
{Me}: "No, I didn't send them on any mission. Now that you mention it, they haven't come to my room for tutoring in over a week either. I'll try to summon them and figure out what's going on. You may stay in my room to observe and listen to our conversation, but if you do, please remain invisible and quiet."
{The Leaders}: "Yes, Master."
They complied, becoming silent and invisible as instructed.
I attempted to summon the two spirits using low and mid-level summoning magic several times, but it didn't work. Left with no other choice, I resorted to high-level summoning magic, which is extremely difficult to master and nearly impossible to resist.
When they finally appeared, they had cast an invisibility spell on themselves.
{White Spirit #2153/Rosarie and White Spirit #2148/Hailey}: "Why does Master want to summon us?"
{Me}: "You haven't attended training or tutoring for over a week now. Naturally, I'm worried about you two and want to know what's going on. Do you mind telling me?"
I spoke in a kind, concerned voice.
{White Spirit #2153/Rosarie and White Spirit #2148/Hailey}: "We look ugly right now... something changed in our appearance..."
{Me}: "I don't care how you look. As long as you're happy with yourselves, I'm happy too."
{White Spirit #2153/Rosarie and White Spirit #2148/Hailey}: "I-if you insist..."
They hesitated, then revealed themselves. Their appearances were strikingly similar: White Spirit #2148/Hailey had the appearance of a Black Spirit but with a white glow in her body, while White Spirit #2153/Rosarie had the appearance of a White Spirit but with a black glow in hers.
Me and the leaders were shocked at first but then I replied.
{Me}: "Congratulations, you two are the first to unlock the highest level in the organization."
{White Spirit #2153/Rosarie, White Spirit #2148/Hailey, and the Leaders}: "Wait, WHAT!?"
{White Spirit #2153/Rosarie and White Spirit #2148/Hailey}: "M-MASTER AMY!? MASTER AMBER!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?"
{The Leaders}: "We were worried about you two as well, so Master offered us the choice to stay here and observe your conversation. A-and Master, what do you mean by 'unlocking the highest level in the organization'?"
{Me}: "This level is the highest, most powerful, and secret level of this organization... Level 6, the Balancing Spirit. There are only two spots in this level: the Light Spirit and the Dark Spirit."
"The Light Spirit has the elements of water and earth, possesses healing powers, manipulation abilities, and much more that I have yet to discover."
"The Dark Spirit has the same powers as the Light Spirit, but instead of controlling water and earth, it controls fire and air."
"And you two, White Spirit #2153/Rosarie and White Spirit #2148/Hailey, will be my assistants in a week. You need to learn, train, and discover your newfound powers. 😁"
{White Spirit #2153/Rosarie and White Spirit #2148/Hailey}: "We'll be your WHAT!?"
{Me}: "Yes, assistants. 😁"
