"I WANT to be a good teacher someday, ma!" I told her, clearly stating what I wanted.

She smiled in admiration and in love. She pinched my right cheek. "And you'll find a good husband who adores and loves you like I do."

I grinned and nodded my head. "I think so too!"

"Come on, let's get ready. Your papa is waiting for us, darling."

I hurriedly grabbed my pink ribbon and tied it around my hair. My papa brought me and my mom to the venue of my contest.

"Goodluck sa prinsesa 'ko!" sambit ni papa bago niya kami iwan ni mama.

"Thank you, pa! I'll do my best uli!" I assured him.

"That's my girl," papa uttered before leaving me with my mom.

After my papa left, I gazed at my mom. I smiled and offered my hand to my mom. "Ma, my phone. Pretty please?"

"Fine, ito na." napipilitan niyang sabi saka inabot sa'kin ang cellphone 'kong once in a blue moon ko lang mahawakan.

Sumali ako sa contest na 'to dahil alam 'kong mahahawakan ko uli ang phone ko. I was deadly curious of what my cousin, ate Seziah, about a site she's talking about. I quickly searched the site and lied about my age to be able to enter the site.

She seems cold. Bakit 'to nandito sa site kung wala naman pala siyang ganang kumausap ng tao?

Napasimangot ako nang mabasa ang sinabi ng site. May oras ba 'yon o may napindot ako? Geez, she seems good pa naman kahit masungit siya.

HI?" I approached the girl who's blocking my way to the room where I'm going to compete.

She seems busy so I attempted to look at what she was holding — her phone. I saw the screenshot of my conversation with the girl at the site earlier.

"Hi?" I repeated, wanting to grab her attention.

She turned around and the most black eyes I've ever seen stared at me. "Oh, hello. I'm sorry, I was reading."

"Yeah, i see. That's my conversation with the girl earlier."

She appeared shocked. "What do you mean?"

"Kanina, may nakausap akong girl and ayan yung conversation namin. Do you know her?"

Tinuro niya ang sarili. "I'm that girl."

I grinned. "Talaga?"

She hesitantly nod. "Bakit ka nandito? Kalaban ba kita... sa contest?"

"Sinamahan ko lang ate ko."

I smiled and nodded again. "Mauna na ako. Mags-start na yung competition, e."

"Goodluck! I'll be watching from outside the room," rinig kong saad niya bago ako tuluyang magmadali sa pagpunta sa room kung saan gaganapin yung contest ko.
